Chap 4: getting paired with the bad boy

️"Eleanor wake up did you forget it's a school day?" My brother said as I opened my eyes to see him opening my curtains as I hid my face from the light.

"Okay okay I'm up" I said as I felt the cover get ripped off my body as I death glared my brother.

"Go have a shower" he said as I sighed and got up before walking into my bathroom.

"Your annoying you know that" I said as I heard him laugh before I closed the bathroom door and I stripped down before turning on the shower. Once the water was right I hopped in and began to wash myself. After that I turned the water off and hopped out before I walked out to my room and my brother wasn't there thank god. I chucked on my undergarments and then put on my boyfriend jeans and my a white singlet with a Aqua baggy seater that said PINK on it. I put my hair in a messy bun and slipped my glasses on before I chucked on my white converse and walked down the the kitchen to see my brother smiling at me.

"You look like a cute little nerd and not a fierce racer" my brother said as I glared at him again.

"Shut up" I said as I began to eat my breakfast. Once I finished I washed up and quickly brushed my teeth before I slipped my phone in my pocket and ran down to the front door and grabbed my bag and keys before my brother and I walked out to our cars and hopped in before we drove off to school. To be honest I was dreading today because I had to find out who my pair was in English. Once I reached the schools parking lot I parked my car before I hopped out and walked to my friends.

"Hey you excited for tonight?" Wyatt asked as I nodded I got to race tonight which was exciting let's just hope my partner for english is busy today.

"Heck yeah what about you guys?" I asked as they laughed.

"Is that even a question when aren't we excited?" Jasper asked as I shrugged.

"Yeah your right but let's just hope that asshole doesn't show up from last night" I said referring to our enemy from the car show the night before.

"Yeah I really want to kick him in the manhood" Ivy said as we laughed before the bell rung and we walked to our lockers before grabbing our books and walking off to class.

The first class was boring all we did was watch the teacher do a stupid experiment and we had to take notes. Why couldn't we do the experiment and take notes was beyond me. I was walking to english with Wyatt just waiting to see who we got paired with hopefully it was someone who was shy and wanted to keep to themselves that would make my job a whole lot easer let me tell you. As we sat down in our seats our teacher walking in with a big smile on his face.

"Morning class are you excited to find out who your pairs are?" He asked as everyone sighed we were not happy about this just then Ryder walked in doing up his zipper.

"Another girl to his list" Wyatt whispered in my ear as I tried not to laugh.

"Take a seat Mr.Phillips" he said as he went to sit at the back and I pushed my glasses up.

"Okay I will read out your names

I have not just done boy and girl but I have mixed them up so some pairs are both girls or both boys or a boy and a girl. You might be a bit awkward for the first 1 or 2 weeks but soon you will be fine. I also will be giving you little assessment to do every every fortnight but this week I just want you to feel comfortable around your new partners" the teacher said as I wanted to hit my head against a brick wall repeatedly why him seriously him out of all the people in this class what is wrong with this teacher.

"Now please move to your pairs so I can make sure I didn't miss anyone" he said as I looked at Wyatt and he gave me a small smile.

"Good luck with bad boy" he said before we both stood up and I smiled.

"Remember to keep our thing a secret" I said as he nodded and we walked of to our partners. Every step that I got closer to him I wanted to turn away and run but I didn't I kept walk towards him. He looked up at me and smiled as I gave him a small smile before I walked up to him and sat down on the seat next to him.

"Looks like we're partners" he said as I looked at the front of the class someone save me please.

"Yeah looks like we are" I said as I saw the teacher look around and nod with a smile on his face man I hate this teacher.

"Alright class now that you are in your pairs introduce yourself and tell your partner a bit about you" he said as I sighed time to see how good my Lying skills are. I turned to look at Ryder to see his dark brown hair and dark blue eyes as he leaned back in his chair.

"Do you want to go first or me?" He asked.

"You" I said as he sat up and looked at me before smiling and showing his perfect teeth.

"Well my name is Ryder Phillips I'm 17, I have a pet dog named Coco and I like cars" he said as I nodded and it was my turn ok this can be easy.

"Hi my names Eleanor Hudson I'm 17, I have an older brother and I don't have any pets" I said as he nodded.

"So are you busy today?" I asked hopefully he says yes and then I don't have to make up a stupid excuse as to why I am busy.

"Yeah I got things to do but we can work on this project tomorrow if your free" he replied as I mentally fistbumbed yes thank the gods above for making him busy.

"Yeah sure" I said as the bell went and we all walked out to lunch as I walked up to Wyatt.

"How was Zoella?" I asked as he smiled.

"Good I told her I was busy tonight so I couldn't work on this project but other than that she is quite so this is going be a piece of cake for me" he said as my eyes went wide why did he get a easy partner and I got the bloody bad boy who isn't quite and doesn't keep to himself.

"What about you and the bad boy?" He asked as we reached our table and sat down.

"It's going good so far he is busy today so I didn't need to make up an excuse to as why I was busy but tomorrow we are working on this stupid project" I said as he smiled before I saw the other come and sit down.

"How was your class?" Jasper asked as I raised my eyebrow.

"Shit I got paired with the one and only Ryder the schools bad boy" I said as all their eyes went wide.

"Hahaha really your kidding right?" Jasper asked as I shook my head.

"Nope it's true I got paired with some girl named Zoella" Wyatt replied as Jasper and Ivy laughed.

"I feel sorry for you El" Ivy said as I nodded.

"Me too" I said man I can't wait for this day to end so I can race and kick people's asses.
