chap 22: meeting Ryders friends

I woke up to see I was still leaning on Ryder's chest as I slowly got up and he moved a little before I grabbed my bag and walked off to the bathroom. Once I got there I locked the door and turned on shower as I stripped and hopped in when the water was right. After I finished in the shower I hopped out and dired myself before slipping on my undergarments and I put on my black skinny jeans and a red sweater that had love on it in black bold righting and slipped on my converses and brushed my hair before slipping on my black beanie. I walked out and to Ryders room to see he wasnt there as I placed my bag down and walked out of his room and down to the kitchen. Once I got there I looked to see Ryder cooking bacon and eggs as I sat down on the stool and watched him before he turned and saw me.

"Hey beautiful sleep well?" He asked as he cracked an egg.

"Yeah did you?" I asked pulling the ends of the swater over my hands.

"Yeah" he repiled as I watched him dish up breakfast as he placed some in front of me and I thanked him before I began to eat it.

"Who knew the bad boy was such a good cook?" I asked as he smiled and ate his own cooking.

"Me obviously" he replied as I looked around to see it was only us too as I looked at Ryder.

"Where is everyone?" I asked as I finished off the last bit of my food.

"Sally had a birthday party so mom took her to that and dad has work" he replied as I hopped off my stool and washed up as Ryder finished and I washed up his dishes as well as he ran up to get ready. Once I was finished I sat down on the stool when I felt my phone buzz as I looked to see it was my brother as I answered it.

"WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?" He yelled through the phone causing me to pull the phone away from my ear.

"I'm at-" before I could say he butted in.

"Don't say your with Ryder" he said as I went quite.

"What did I say Eleanor he is trouble he is going to hurt you I need you to stay away from him" he said.

"But he's not Xzavier he hasn't hurt me yet and screw you I'm not staying away with him maybe you should grow some balls and get to know him because you might not hate him as much as you do" I said.

"I have balls Eleanor and I'm your older brother and I'm only saying stay away from him to protect you what part don't you understand?" He asked as I sighed.

"Probably the stay away part and tell mom and dad I won't be home till later since I'm going shopping with Ryder" I said and before he could yell at me again I hung up and put my phone back in my pocket as I pulled the sweater ends over my hands and folded them on the counter before resting my head on them while I waited for Ryder.

I honestly don't get my brother I know he's trying to be the protective older brother but he's taking over protective to a whole new level and it was annoying me. I needed a way to get Ryder and my brother to meet so he can see Ryder isn't as bad as he thinks and he can stop this stupid act. Soon I felt hands go on my shoulders as I jumped up and turned to see Ryder dressed in black jeans with a white v neck top and a black leather jacket as he smiled at me.

"You okay?" He asked I stood up and nodded.

"Yeah I'm fine you ready to go?" I asked as he nodded and we walked out before Ryder grabbed his keys and we walked to his car before I hopped in the passenger seat and he sat in the drivers seat before he began to drive.

"You know my parents want to meet your parents?" Ryder asked as I shook my head.

"No I didn't" I replied maybe this could be my way to get Ryder and my brother to talk.
