Yeah, I know. It has been a while. Don't worry, it's long...er.

Amanda's POV
The car pulled to a stop in front of the enormous building. We got out, and everyone started making their way inside. I followed Kyle up to the front porch, and was about to go inside when I felt a hand on my shoulder.
"Wait look." Kyle said turning me around.
The palace was perched near the bottom of one of Romania's large mountains near the edge of a steep hill, almost a cliff, but not quite. It was framed with a colorful assortment of trees ranging from aspens to evergreens. Beneath it lie a secluded valley fenced in by mountains. It was about 7:30am, so the sun was just starting to light up the valley. I could make out a small town nestled closer to the castle and a lake on the other side of the valley. A river ran out of the lake and back around the town where it disappeared into the forest.
"That's where ou- my pack lives." Kyle said with a sigh. I noticed his almost mistake, but chose to ignore it and live in the moment.
"It's beautiful." I said. "How did you ever leave?"
He sighed again, "The first time was pretty easy. It was my responsibility, and I was eager to please my father. Now though," he took a deep breath. "Every time I visit, it becomes harder to leave. I visit every summer, at first it was a week, then two, then a month. I never went over a month and half though, my pack needed me back in Texas more than they needed me here."
"Is that where you were this summer?" I asked. "You were only gone for like two weeks. Why didn't you leave for here earlier?"
"My wolf wanted me to stay REALLY really wanted me to stay. Every time a thought about leaving I would feel sick and he would growl at me. One time I decided I needed to go, so I got the jet ready and told my mom I was coming. Then, just as we arrived at the airfield, Jordan took over and changed into his wolf and ran me all the way back to the pack house." He said rolling his eyes at the end.
"Why didn't he want you to go home? Wouldn't he see the need to be a good alpha and take care of your Romanian pack members?" I asked confused.
"There was a certain someone he really wanted to meet." He said with a goofy smile on his face.
Who was making him smile like that? My jealous side took over and I crossed my arms. "Oh yeah?" I tried to keep the venom out of my voice, but I don't think it worked. "Who would that be?" I spat the last part out and gazed out at the valley.
"Is someone a little jealous?" Kyle asked with a smirk.
"Fine don't tell me." I said, turning around to go inside.
"No, wait." He said grabbing my arm. "You, it was you. He wanted to meet you. We were waiting for you." He almost whispered the last part.
I couldn't stop the smile that lit up my face. "Well in that case..." I said, drawing out the last part of what I said. I leaned in and his eyes darkened.
"Sweetheart, what's taking so-" I heard a voice from the doorway and we both pulled back. My back rammed into the banister, but I ignored the pain instead I looked I looked over to the source of the noise. A young-ish lady, probably in late twenties, stood there with a huge smile on her face. Her brown hair was in soft waves around her face, and her tan skin brought out the green streaks in her brown eyes, and she wore little to no make up. She was short, probably 5'2", and in very good shape.
"Oh I see." She said with a grin, closing the door behind her and coming to stand I front of us. "Would you like to introduce me to the absolutely gorgeous lady standing next to you? Or would you rather I left so you two can finish what I interrupted? Although, I won't suggest that since your aunt Cynthia is in the other room, and she'll probably come out to get you if I don't bring you back inside with me."
