"Good morning Kyle." I said with an equally large smile.

Amanda's POV

I looked around to see I was in a small room. It looked to be about 8 by 8 feet. The walls were red because of the lighting, and the bed looked a dark purple so I was assuming it was blue. The walls were all bear and a small bedside table sat to the right of me, and Kyle sat in the chair to the left.

Just then the door burst open. I looked up to see my mom and a small lady in jeans and a Tshirt walk in. The small lady came over to me and felt my forehead. "No fever," she said. She then checked my pulse and had me do some funky things with my eyes. "It looks like everything is fine." She said after completing the tests. Turning towards me she asked, "how do you feel?"

"I feel great!" I said, and it was the truth. "Where am I?" I then asked looking at my mom.

"Your at The pa- I mean Kyle's house." She said hesitantly.

"What! Why?" I asked jumping back a little.

It was Kyle who answered this time. "Because you fainted, don't you remember?" He sounded a little worried.

Then it all flooded back to me, the woods, the wolf, the wind, the woman. "Where is she?" I whispered. I had some soft of creepy connection to this person I didn't even know and I had to learn more about her.

"She's back at the house." My mom said. "We can go talk to her," she turned to the doctor. "If it's alright with you?"

"She is good to go. " she said enthusiastically. Then she turned to me, "if you have any headaches, vision problems, trouble sleeping or anything like that, just tell Alpha Kyle and he'll get me."

I nodded my head, ignoring the weird wolf reference.

"Can we go?" I asked my mom. "I've got a lot of questions I need answered."

She looked worried but nodded.

"I'm coming." Kyle said from the corner.

"Of course Alpha." My mom said, looking even more worried.

***

We were all sitting on the purple couches in the living room just staring at each other. I was seated next to Kyle and across from my mom and the lady who was in the woods. She was cleaned up now, and she was like a model. She had blonde hair she'd put unit a pony tail, and perfect pale skin. Her eyes were a bluish grey color that complimented her blue long sleeved shirt. She was wearing a pair of white jeans and old greying tennis shoes. She was wearing no make-up, and even though she wasn't obviously dressed to impress, she looked camera worthy, heck she looked like she had just walked off the cover of a magazine.

Finally My mom cleared her throat, "I'm assuming you have some questions?"

As soon as she mentioned questions everything else flew from my mind. I started with the least complicated, "why was I at your house?" I asked Kyle.

"You fainted, and you needed medical attention." He said like it was obvious.

"Oh and you just happened to have a doctor at your house? And why not take me to a hospital?" I said raising one eyebrow.

"She's a close family friend who lives at our house, and the hospitals are all too far away."

I sighed, that seemed like a reasonable explanation. "How long was I out?" The question just coming to me, had I missed a lot of school? Heavens I hope I didn't have too much homework. Had anyone told Dad? I needed to call him.

"Just a day, you fainted the night before last." My mom said.

I breathed a sigh of relief. "Did you tell dad?"

"We had to have his permission to access your medical records." My mom said almost bitterly.

When my mom and dad divorced, he had fought hard for custody, and my mom was a little out of it so it didn't take long. I still don't know what was wrong with her... "I need to call him." I muttered to myself.

"What exact ally happened?" Kyle finally asked.

"Didn't you tell them?" I asked the woman sitting next to my mom. She shook her head.

"She hasn't said anything since I first found you."

"What's your name?" I asked her.

"Later." Is all she said. She had a weird accent I had never noticed before, it was almost Irish, but a bit Australian, I think, I'm not very good at accents. It could be African for all I know. I was gonna press for more when Kyle spoke again. "Well? What happened?"

So I told them, about the noises and the strange pull, my mom looked worried at this, and Kyle looked confused. When I got to the part where I told the wolf to leave Kyle looked surprised and almost proud. I didn't tell them about the wind or the lightening, it seemed... I don't know like a secret? Like I wasn't supposed to tell anyone because it was special. I told them about how the wolf left and I fainted. When I finished I waited for them to say something.

Then Kyle embraced me, "you had me so worried in so glad your not hurt." He murmured in my ear.

"You need to be more careful." My mom whispered.

"I'm sorry mom." I said pulling away from Kyle.

"What did the wolf look like?" He asked.

"He was huge and dark brown, he looked like a huge bear. His due was all messed up and dirty and his eyes were black." I said, there wasn't really anything defining I could think of. "Why?" I asked.

"We don't allow wolfs like that in our territory." He said. I was about to ask what he was going to do when the woman spoke up.

"It was a female." She started. "Her left ear was missing part of it, and her stomach had a large dark colored birth mark on it. Streaks of lighter brown ran down her neck and her right paw was missing a toe." She stated in her weird accent.

"It's her." Kyle said his eyes darkening. "I have to go tell Michael. Watch over her and tell me if anything happens." He said looking from my mom to the other woman and back. My mom nodded her head before leading him to the door.

I looked over at the woman across from me. "Did you feel it too? The pull? What's going on? How are we connected? Did you do something to me?" I asked her desperately.

"I did nothing to you, we have been connected all our lives. It becomes stronger as you get older. The connection wasn't even activated until 3 days ago when I turned 21." She stated.

"But why, how, are we 'connected'?" I asked.

"Well, to first off I'm a vampire, second you're a seer and third we're sisters."
