Kyle's POV
I watched as Amanda slept.
Creep! my wolf Jordan said to me.
Well hello to you too. I said back internally rolling my eyes.
I softly began to remove myself from my beautiful mates arms, trying not to wake her. She whimpered softly and tightened her hold around me I sighed and gently tore her hand from me standing up. I looked down and was relieved to see my Amanda still sleeping.
I walked into the conference room and saw the seer and his mate talking softly to each other. He didn't even look up when I walked in, I was king for heavens sake, the least he could do was acknowledge me. I hated him, he thought he was so high and mighty just because he was a seer. My grandparents almost killed them all off and half of me wishes they had succeeded, the other half keeps reminding me that My mate wouldn't exist if they had succeeded. Daniel had said earlier that most werewolves saw the extermination of seers as a mistake, but he over exaggerated. There were very few of us who did not hate the seers. The elders tell tales where our people of dying of disease or famine, and although there are seers with the cure, they watch our people die and laugh to themselves thinking they are above us all. The seers were not a peaceful people, they were cruel and selfish, they treated us like dogs. If there was any other way to save my pack without enlisting the help of that king then I would take it. Unfortunately Amanda is my top priority and she wasn't ready. She was the only seer whom I actually respected. I felt not amount of hate or discuss toward her. I know she is different, she does not think herself above anyone, she is completely selfless and kind. I smiled at the thought of my mate. My pack may not see her as I do though, and that was my biggest worry. I knew they would except her as their Luna; they would have to or I would kick them out of the pack. But would they respect her? I'd have to talk to my uncle about it. "Do you know where my Beta is?" I asked the seer, trying to keep the venom out of my voice, he was after all my future father-in-law.
"If you mean your great uncle, then he is not here." He said. His mate slapped his chest and glared at him disapprovingly, then turned and glared at me.
"Stop acting like children." She scolded. "You," she said standing up and turning to the seer, "are over a century old, act like it." Then she turned to me, "and you are the king of thousands and the alpha of a very large pack. Now as far as I understand an alpha is like a father, not a child. Both of you need to suck up your childish my-toys-are-better-than-your-toys attitude and at least be civil towards one another. You are now part of each others lives, and will be forever, so cut the crap. Amanda can never be happy if the two most important men in her life can't even have a conversation without being at each others throats." She took a deep breath. "Now to answer your question Alpha, your uncle is going to talk to the pilot about something." With that she sat down next to her mate.
She was right, he was my mates father, I took a deep breath to calm my wolf down. My wolf was angry; I had let the nymph scold me, but I knew what she said was true. I nodded to her in respect, then turned and left the room to find my uncle.
After talking to my uncle about the pack, and contacting alpha Williams, I headed back into the main room.
When I walked through the doorway, I saw my beautiful mate talking to the nymph-I mean Katelyn, is that her name? I don't even know. I sighed, at least I'm trying to be respectful. They both fell silent and turned to look at me when I walked in. I nodded to Cameron, or Katelyn, whatever, before turning to my mate, I smiled. "Good morning princess." She smiled up at me, "Good morning prince." She said back standing up and wrapping her arms around my neck, I placed my arms comfortably around her waist. "I haven't been a prince since I was fourteen." I said smirking. "Would you rather I called you king?" She asked raising an eyebrow. "Or better yet, your highness?"
