Seeing Clearly

Chapter 20

I know I've published this before but I added a ton to the end so read the whole thing!

Amanda POV

To say I was shocked would be an understatement, but I quickly gathered my wits and said, "I don't know what your talking about." My face was blank but my mask was cracking.

"Tsk tsk tsk. I see we have a little personality," he said his minty breath fanning over my face. It was disgusting, "that's okay, it's just more fun to break you."

I walked to the bed and sat down expressionless, I would remain strong.

He chuckled, "and if there's anything I love it's broken things."

I closed my eyes and simply focused on my breathing, tuning his words out. I wouldn't let this piece of trash scare me. I heard a door close and opened my eyes. It doesn't matter where they take me; I'm getting out of here.

Kyle's POV

I flipped the table over and growled.

Four and a half days.

One hundred and six hours.

Six-thousand three-hundred and eighty- two minutes.

That's how long is been without my mate. I had to find her. Who knows what could have been done to her!?

Amanda's POV

I sat on a chair overlooking the thick window when he came in again.

"Good morning princess!" The Alpha said walking into my room. "Today we will be taking you to a new room in the house. These living quarters will not be quite as nice but I assume you will grow accustomed to them quite quickly."

"Kyle will come for me." I spat at him.

He chuckled, "unfortunately for you we already discovered your boyfriends little spy. He thinks your on the way to Australia right now. Sadly for him he won't find you there."

My heart dropped but I kept a straight face, "he's smarter than you." I said, keeping my voice in check. I won't give him the the satisfaction of seeing me crumble.

"We will see." He said simply before grabbing my arm and dragging me into the basement.

Kyle's POV

We were all gathered around the table in the conference room discussing our options. We've been doing this for days getting nothing done. Just as I was about to express my frustrations Rattdale stumbled into the room.

"He's moving her to Australia tonight." He said quickly. "They're flying into Melbourne tomorrow and he's going to hold her in a small inn called Ruth's Bed and Bath in the far eastern side of the city."

"I'll go right now." I said standing up.

"Kyle you know that's not smart." My mother quickly responded to my outburst.

"You're right." I said running a hand over my face. "Mr. Cerasos you go. I'll stay here and lead an attack on Williams pack house tonight. They'll be most vulnerable then."

"I called the twins they should be here soon. They can stay here with me and defend the pack house." My mother said.

There were murmurs of agreement around the room. "Cerasos I'll need you back as soon as possible to help with the attack but make sure Amanda is somewhere safe I don't want her near the fight." That made my wolf whimper because of she wasn't near the fight that meant she wasn't near me. "We'll take care of williams quickly and cleanly and everything will be back to normal."
