After my phone call with the chief of security I get up and rush to find Pietro.
I get to the living room to find all of the boys playing Mario kart
"Heyy, Pietro can I talk to you a minute?" I ask
"Yep one second just got started" he says eyes glued to the screen
"Can you just play next round?" I ask
"Y/n you're interrupting our tournament, if you wanted to be in it you would've gotten up earlier" Harley says throwing a gummy worm at my head
I take the gummy worm and eat it
"Pietro. I got my sign" I say with an emphasis on my words
"Huh?" He looks at me now
"Yeah" I nod and gesture him to get up
He drops his controller and gets up
"If that's code for 'I'm pregnant' or something I'm totally telling dad! Weirdos!" Harley yells joking as Pietro and I walk away
"A sign?" pietro asks
"I just got off the phone with the Chief Of Security at the Raft." I say
"The Raft? What did he want??" Pietro asks intrigued
"It's Beck. He said he won't talk at all...The only thing he asked for is a conversation with me" I say nervously
"With you? That's so weird!" Pietro looks confused
"I know!! So I don't know what to do.. I should go right? This is my sign?" I ask not really knowing what to do
"That's up to you babe"
I put on some clothes that weren't too flashy but nobody was going to see me anyways.
I go to grab my keys and I find Pietro holding them
"What are you doing babe?" I ask squinting my eyes
"Going with you of course." He states as if that was obvious
"What!? Babe-
"I don't want you to go through this alone, but if you don't want me to that's okay" he nods holding my keys out to me
"Alright come on then" I smile
So I got in my car and drove to the point where I then got on a plane and went to the Raft with Pietro.
I keep telling myself this is the right thing to do the whole way there.
But when I land and find myself outside the Raft I stop nervously, my breathing gets rapid
"Y/n you alright?" Pietro is at my side immediately
"Mhm- gimma a second."
I pull out my phone and speed dial dad
"Hey kid, what's up?" Dad asks calmly
"Dad... I have to tell you this so I'm not keeping it from you.." I say quickly in a clearly nervous tone
"Woah- y/n what's wrong? You sound a wreck kid-
"dad, i-I'm at the Raft. The chief asked me to come, I'm totally safe I promise I'm with Pietro"
