For the next few days wanda taught me some of her magic.
It didn't feel the same as the magic I know, it felt very powerful.
"Alright today I will send out a beacon for the multiverse traveler!" She smiles
"Yes! We'll be one step closer" I smile and nod
As she works on her spell I've been helping Wanda tidy up her house. I know depression can be hard so I do what I can for her.
"Done. It's done y/n! We should hear back soon" she comes to tell me
"Perfect! The boys will be back with us" I grin
"Do you dream of him?" She asks me
"Faith? Almost every night"
"Do you have realistic dreams- dreams that feel as if you're really with faith?" She asks
"Yes, I mean I have once." I nod
"That was you in another universe. Living the life you deserve" she smiles softly
"Really?! Oh wow" I think about how happy I'd be living with my family again
We celebrate by making some brownies and sitting out on the porch overlooking the orchard.
"Your brother would love this place" I smile
"We will have him here soon enough" wanda drinks some tea
I get a text, it's from strange.
*-Christines wedding tomorrow... should I go?-*
I text back
*-she invited you for a reason! It would be nice if you to show up-*
He texts back
*-whatever I guess-*
I giggle knowing he's joking with me
"What is funny?" Wanda asks
"Oh it's Dr. Strange texting me" I smile but she tenses up a little
"Nice" she tries to smile
Soon the sun sets and we go inside for bed time.
I go into the guest room where my stuff is situated.
I lay on the comfy bed and get ready to fall asleep
Once sleep takes me I'm entranced in dreams of my kids so real it was another dimension right in front of me.
The next morning I sleep in for a while before hearing wanda downstairs.
I get up and get ready for the day. Once I go downstairs I'm greeted with a cup of coffee.
"Thanks wanda!"
"Of course! For my best sister in law" she jokes
We sit and talk over breakfast before getting to work on the magic.
"Looks like we made some contact with our multiverse traveler" Wanda's eyes light up
"Really?" I ask
"She's on earth" wanda smiles almost wickedly
"That's good!" I nod
"Yes it is unless... wait- we have a visitor" wanda stops as if she's listening for something
"What?" I ask
"Come on" she smiles and we go outside
I get excited seeing an orange portal opening up out near the orchard.
