The Avengers aircraft lands at the Avengers tower where Barton is taken to have his wound tended to; Maria walks up to Stark
"Labs all set up boss" she nods as dad turns his chair around
[pointing to Steve] "Uh, actually, he's the boss. I just pay for everything, and design everything and make everyone look cooler." Dad smirks
"I went out maria!" I exclaim and she looks stunned
[pointing to me] "She went out??" Maria gasps looking back and forth between dad and pops
"Sorry she forgot to say she went out without anyone knowing" dad re-explains putting an emphasis on the without part
"Whatever I saved clint" I shrug grabbing my gear
"Word on the enhanced?" Pops asks as we walk inside
"Wanda and Pietro Maximoff. Twins. Orphaned at ten when a shell collapsed their apartment building. Sokovia's had a rough history. It's nowhere special but it's on the way to everywhere special." Maria shrugs reading off of her tablet
"High school delinquents" dad shakes his head snickering
"The boy is pretty cute" I say to Maria sipping my juice
"Say That again and you're not going on our next mission" dad scoffs
"So what are their abilities?" Pops says ignoring me
"He's got increased metabolism and improved thermal homeostasis. Her thing is neural electric interfacing, telekinesis, mental manipulation." Maria nods but pops looks at her funny
"He's fast and she's weird" I shrug and pops nods along understanding
"Come on let's check on Barton" dad says pulling my arm so I follow him
"How's he doing?" Bruce asks dr cho as we walk in
"Unfortunately it looks like he's still Barton" dad says and clint rolls his eyes
"That's terrible" bruce gasps
"Nah hes fine. Now Jarvis lets get started" dad says walking to the other side of the lab with Bruce
"So he's gonna be okay?" I ask dr cho
"Yeah cause pretending to need this guy really brings us all together" Nat winks
"Yes mr Barton is regenerating" dr cho smiles watching the machine
"Nope call it. He's flatlining! Time?" Dad yells joking around as Bruce makes a continuous beeping
"No, no I'm gonna live forever!" Clint chuckles
Dr cho finishes her work and begins to pack up.
"Dr cho, I expect to see you at the party on Saturday" dad says
"Thor will be there" I smile at her knowing she may have a small crush on him
"Oh well then see you all Saturday" she laughs and we all say goodbye
"Okay y/n it's science time go, play with barbies or something" dad says shooing me away
"Love you too dad" I laugh rolling my eyes
I go to my room and lay on my bed scrolling through Instagram.
"Knock knock" I hear pops say
"What's up pops" I smile putting my phone down
"Thought I'd come in and talk" he shrugs sitting next to me
"Sure how ya doing" I say happily leaning into him
