Pt 127

"From Beck?" I ask

"Uh yeah that's what it says" Harley nods looking at it again

"Thanks" I take it and everyone looks at me as if I'll open it and read it aloud

"I think I'll go read this in my room" I look at them each slowly showing that i would like some privacy

"Ah man"
"Whatever y/n"
"That's okay kid"
"You do that"
They all answer at once

I walk off and go to my room with the letter.

I look at the envelope for a few moments at my desk.
Then I get the courage to open the letter.

The writing is neat but was as if he was rushing at the last part.

In the first section he wrote about his progress. Therapy, owning up to his faults and mistakes. Self healing.
That part made me smile. I was happy that I could make such a big difference for him.
Then in the second part of the letter he asked me about Wanda. Said he had heard my name on the news a few times in the past couple days...
That part worried me more.

I dropped the letter and sat with my knees close to my chest as I thought about Westview.
In my mind that place holds amazing memories of the family I wish I still had... but in reality it was like a prison to all inside the town, being bent to Wanda's insane perception of a perfect life.

I don't know it till I snap back that there's a tear running down my face.
Like dad said the fbi can only question me about it but I still feel guilty for some reason.

I know if pietro and I get questioned we would be defending Wanda till the death of us... which would only make us more guilty

We were only trying to help Wanda...

"Y/n"

I hear peters voice at my door

"Yeah?" I snap up

"Can I come in?" He asks

"Sure" I nod

The door opens and he comes in

"Soo I called aunt Nat"
He says nervously

"Really!? I was actually already thinking of calling her after you suggested it" I smile

"Yeah! She said she was already planning to come check on you anyways" Peter nods

"She must've heard too then..." I look down thinking of how worried she must be about not only me but Wanda as well

"Do you think Dr. bruce is coming with her?" Peter asks with a glimmer of hope in his voice

It would seriously be good for all of us to have a family reunion

"Let's hope so pete. I miss everyone" I sigh

"Is the letter good?" Peter asks looking at my desk

"Well it's not bad... he mentioned Wanda.." I look at the letter uneasily

"So everyone in the world probably knows then..." Peter says

"Yeah even people in maximum security prisons" I try to joke as I sit on my bed

"Do you know where Wanda went?" Peter asks sitting next to me

"Not really no" I shake my head

"I'm surprised pietro didn't follow her" peter makes a good point

"Well I wasn't exactly doing very well when she decided to up and leave" I frown

"But I mean they're twins.. I know Harley and I would follow you anywhere to make sure you're safe" Peter nods proudly
