Chapter 1
It's been 10 years since I became a rogue, I barely remember what my life was like before.
I know I was with my mother playing hide and seek when I heard a scream, I remember running towards the scream only to see my mother laying on the ground beneath a massive dirty brown wolf,
it had white fogged over eyes like it was already dead but it was still alive I was only 8 years old at the time it was my first time seeing a rogue I've heard about them I've been told what they look like but I've never seen one until that day it was frightening.
Since most female wolves can't shift, my mother being no exception to this she wasn't able to do much.
As he stood over my mother who was still hanging on to his legs trying to hold him in place and away from me,
She started to yell.
Run Jade! Get to your father! NOW!
I remember the scream as time slowed down seeing my mother's life slip away as she clung to the rogue to keep him away from me.
When my brain finally was able to start working again I ran until I couldn't run anymore.
By the time I had made it a good distance away I heard the sound of paws hitting the ground, I was so scared I didn't know what to do so I hid.
I had found a hollowed out tree near the edge of our packs territory and squeezed into it as much as possible.
Hearing the sound get closer made my heart pick up it's pace.
It was like my heart was in a race and it's neck and neck with the other racers so it's picking up speed.
All I could do at the time was wait and hope that the wolf would pass me by.
It wasn't until it was almost completely past me that I realized there was more than one set of paws hitting the ground, meaning either he had help show up or it was my pack mates.
I was too scared to move so I just listened to hear anything that might sound familiar to mei sniffed the air to see if it smelled of rogue.
Even though I was young my senses was heighten,
More so then any normal she wolf, and more so then any pup could ever dream of.
I told my mom once when I had just turned 7 about it she asked me a few questions and then told me to never tell anyone.
At the time I didn't know why but as I got older it started to make sense to me.
I had spent about 3 minutes crouched down in the hollowed out tree while listening to see if I hear the wolves that was near by.
My leg had started to go numb from the I was Crouched down when all of a sudden my foot had slipped out from under me making me fall out of my hiding place.
After I fell out everything had went silent,
No sound was made until I heard the snap of a twig to my left. At that point time had slowed down for me
