Chapter 26
I got to the kitchen in time to see Sherri packing up a picnic basket.
I tilted my head to the side in confusion,
I didn't know Sherri was here and I guess she's going on a picnic as well.
She looked over at me and smiled at me
Walking around the counter she did an over dramatic bow and said
My Queen your lunch has been prepared.
I looked straight ahead and said.
Excellent I think I'll have my meal in the garden today.
Shall we head there?
We both giggled then she gave me a big hug.
How have you been?
I asked and She held me at arms length as she responded.
I've been good just missed you.
Reese has been beating himself up since he found out how you became a rogue and he's been wanting to apologize but he's ashamed of himself.
So don't be surprised when he finally does come to you.
I nodded knowing that when he does come to apologize then I'll have to keep Damon from ripping off his head.
I'll take it easy on him but I might tease him a bit I chuckled and so did Sherri.
we walked out to the garden to see my siblings waiting for me as we got closer Sherri excused herself saying she would have dinner with me later and that she was gonna go find her mate.
I watched as my little sister was chasing my baby brother
Even though they are both 6 they would both still be my baby brother and sister.
When I was just a few steps away Veronica tripped and fell hurting herself I rushed forward and picked her up as she tried to hold back tears she looked at me and sniffled
I smiled at her to show that she's Ok
She wrapped her arms around my neck and laid her head on my shoulder as she sniffled
Payton was waiting for us to find a good spot to have our picnic Victor ran to stand next to him
Payton took the picnic basket I was holding in my other hand and carried it for me.
