I had woke up on the pile of dried up leaves I was able to make into a bed for myself

Stretching out my limbs and hearing some of my bones crack I let out a big yawn.

As I hummed to myself Onyx started talking to me.

And asked.

Jade do you think I can take control for awhile?

I smiled to myself because I knew she wanted to hunt.

Yes just let me wash my face in the stream and then you can have control.

I could practically feel her prancing around in my head doing a happy dance.

OK I can't wait.

I can just tell something big and tasty will come our way today!

I chuckled and shook my head.

Onyx you say that every other day!

She chuckled and said.

Shaking my head no I replied, no you've never been wrong when it comes to your instincts.

Once I made it to the lake I started to freshen up as best as a female rogue can.

When I first became a rogue I was scared thinking I was gonna become like the rogue that ate my mother but as I got older and met other rogues I found out that, that rogue that killed and ate my mom was actually a hybrid wolf

mixed with demon and maybe even vampire.

It's not uncommon for a wolf to have a mate that isn't of wolf blood since there are multiple types of supernatural races in this world.

Some just are nice like the fairies.

and some are just scary like the vampires and demon race.

Even the lycan race is scary.

Knowing that all it takes is about 10 lycans to destroy an entire pack of wolves that house about 300 well trained pack members.

I've seen it happen once

I had been captured by a pack I didn't want to hurt anyone but I also didn't want to die so I was waiting fo the right time to escape when an alarm went off letting everyone know they was under attack.

I figured now was a good time to escape.

I picked the lock and slipped out.

I thought I was unnoticed but a teen she wolf had seen me and followed me we watched from a share distance away as the lycans tore through everyone in their path.
