Chapter 27

After Payton was rushed to the hospital and Mary to the dungeon to await her questioning I went to my office where Lilly's father is waiting.

I entered the room to find Damon, Aiden. Kai and his mate Ronaldo already there talking to Lilly's father

He stood up when he seen me enter and bowed his head.

I smiled and gave him a small nod and said

I'm sure you already know who I am but I'll still introduce myself, I'm Jade and you must be Aaron Lilly's father.

I made it more of a statement rather than a question and he smiled and said.

Yes I am Ronaldo told me Lilly is here and she's OK.

I wanted to come sooner but I was caught by the Hunters I just recently escaped from them,

I nodded my head as I noticed a few bruises and some dried up blood on his arms and his neck he looked rather scrawny for a lycan.

but that's due to him being captured by the hunters

I'm sure they wanted to keep him weak so they could run experiments on him.

I've already sent for Lilly, she will be happy your OK,

And I'm sure you can't wait to see her.

He gave me his thanks as he sat down to wait I was anxious waiting on news of my brother but I also needed to be here to get information so we began to discuss what he knows which wasn't much.

He only knew what we knew already so I decided it wasn't really necessary for me to be there and went to check on my brother

When I got there my father was already there pacing back and forth in front of the medical room

he was in my little sister was clinging to our brother

I went to my father to stop his pacing and told him he should sit and I'll have a nurse give us an update on Payton's condition.

He nodded his head and sat down while I went to find a nurse.

The nurse went to see about information for us,

We waited for about 20 minutes before a doctor came out from the room he had a small patch of my brothers blood on the sleeve of his scrubs, I'm guessing when he was taking it off he somehow got it on himself.

He gave a small smile when he walked up to us,

Which gave us relief.

Payton will be fine we are now just letting him rest.

The whoever did this to him used a weapon they didn't know how to use.
