Chapter 30

Darkness was I all I could see at the moment

I felt the cold hard ground underneath my back.

I tried to move one of my hands to rub my face as I felt a trickle of water drip down on my forehead

But they wouldn't budge

I was able to open my eyes and look around.

This place was very quiet no sounds could be heard.

I tried to sit up but the chains wrapped around my wrists and ankles made me fall back onto my back.

As I try to see if I can get enough strength to break the chains I hear a door open so I close my eyes and pretend to be asleep.

Hearing the footsteps get closer I will my breathing to even out and my heartbeat to slow down.

When the footsteps stop and I can feel someone looking at me I hear a familiar voice say.

Do you think she will wake up soon?

I don't know my love but when she does we'll start the ritual.

I wanted to open my eyes to see who the other person was but the first one was Annabelle the second one was a man who sounded a bit strand as he spoke

I tried not to flinch when I felt someone's cold hand touch my arm, they patted my arm twice before saying

I felt the unknown man tense up before I heard the sound of them kissing as she said.

I'll just sleep for about an hour and then if she's not awake by then, then we'll wake her up.

They kissed and again then I heard the sound of Annabelle walking away and a door closing.

Being cautious and not wanting to be tricked I continued to feign sleep.
