Chapter 14: That hurts
David's POV (point of view)

Today is Friday 19th of April 2019.
"You can't play David" the PE teacher said to me.
"What!? I only forgotten to bring my runners. Why can't I still play?!" I started to yell.
"Hey! Don't yell and David, your suppose to bring your runners. Its part of the school rules when doing me" The teacher explained.
Today I was supposed to do basketball with the whole class but since I forgotten to bring my runners, I couldn't play.
These school rules suck.

"You can just sit down on the benches and wait until the class is over" He said.
Great now I have to wait until this is over.
I walked over to the right side of the PE hall where the benches are located.
I sat down on the bench with my hands clasping together and watching everyone picking their own teammates and before they play a match.

The PE teacher blew the whistle and the game began.
Everyone was at there position doing their own role.
The basketball banged and bounced on the floor, the boys were running and the boys were shouting to their teammates which made the hall be filled lots of loud noises.
"Travelling Scott!" The PE teacher said.

I glanced over to look at a frustrated Scott who was holding the basketball his hands and throwing it onto the ground aggressively.
"He wasn't travelling!" Finn said.
"He was Finn. I saw him!" The teacher explain to him loudly.
Finn looked very annoyed. He looked at me and I nodded my head, signalling that if he's okay.

I then glanced over to see my best friends again, my other friends and Blake. I've notice that Blake looked at me a few times when I was watching. I did a simple wave at him when he saw me. Blake glanced back at me with a light smile as he was playing.

He bounced the basketball in front of him, trying to get the ball ahead and away from everyone. He ran fast, he twirled around to avoid his opponents, he jumps, he shoots and he Scores!
"Score!" The PE teacher shouted.
I watch Blake's teammates high-fiving and hugging Blake. Blake over there felt happy and proud.
I clapped for Blake and he noticed me.

After 25 minutes of basketball, the boys took a break to get some air and a drink.
"Hey, do you have some water?" Max said tiredly.
"Yeah I do" I answered
I grabbed my water bottle from my school bag and handed it to Max.
"Thx David" he said before he started drinking.
"Your welcome"

He wiped his mouth and gave the bottle back to me.
"So.... how's it going?" I asked Max.
"Good. You know basketball is not my thing" he said.
"Okay! Let's go for round two!" The teacher said.
The boys went back onto the court.

After 5 minutes of the game, Blake scored again and I clapped for him.
Behind him, I've noticed that a frustrated Ryan looked angry towards Blake.
Ryan would always have this jealousy when people are doing better things than him.

The teacher passed the ball to the opposite team. The ball was passed to Callum, then Kyle and afterwards it was passed to the other team where Jacob received the ball in his hands.
"Jacob pass!" Blake yelled.
Jacob bounced the ball on the floor and ran towards Blake.
He passed the basketball to Blake but suddenly as Blake received the ball in his hands, Ryan tried to pull the ball away from Blake.

"Hey!" Blake shouted.
Ryan finally grabbed the ball from Blake's grasp.
"That's unfair!" Blake shouted to Ryan.
Ryan ignored Blake and ran ahead of him.
"Sir! I think Blake had the ball first?" I shouted to the PE teacher, to support Blake's argument.
