Chapter 17: The Zoo pt2
Blake's POV (point of view)

"You okay?" I asked him.

He looked very pissed off. I could see that, his blue eyes were filled with sadness.

"I'm fine"

"Are you sure?" I asked him.

"I said I'm Fine!" He said in a louder voice. He wiped his eyes, making the tears go away.

"David?"

"I'm fi- actually no goddammit, I'm not fine. They both left me!"

"Who did?" I wondered.

"James and John left me!" He cried.

"But David, I'm here" I tried to calm him down.

"I know. It's just that...    I don't like being alone by myself"

He came up to me.
David hugged me and I felt pity for him.
He cried on my shoulder.
Being alone hurts sometimes or sometimes it doesn't for others. I'm normally used to being alone but, David...
one of his fears is being alone by himself.
We broke the hug.

"Hey? Why not you go with me?"

"Where?" He said softly.

"I'm going to see the Tigers"

"Sure. Okay" he said quietly.

David went with me to see the Tigers. He was very quiet while walking. He looked down, facing the ground.

"Blake, can I say something?" He spoke up.

I wondered what he is going to say.

"Yeah, go for it" I said

"Um... are we still friends Blake? I mean since we ever came back to school, you never really talk to me
a lot. Did I do something wrong to hurt you?"

My heart was pounding. I didn't want to tell the truth to David. Not yet.
I've been avoiding David but since then, I never realised how he felt.

"What?! No! You didn't do anything wrong David"

"Then, why were you avoiding me?"

"AVOIDING YOU?! Of course not! Why would I avoid you?" I lied.

"Well, I just thought that you were avoiding me" he said.

Maybe it's wrong to avoid David. Maybe avoiding him will make things worst or more?

"So Blake? Again, are we still friends?" He said one more time.

I wanted to be more than friends with David.

"Of course David. We're friends" I told him.

He responded with a cute warm smile.

It didn't take that long for us to get to the Tigers.
There were three tigers. Two large adult tigers and one small tiger.
They were in a large zoo pit that is a few meters away from us.
