Chapter 9: Partners
Blake's POV (point of view)

Today is January the 23rd 2019.
Today is Wednesday. In Ireland, my school on Wednesdays finishes at 1:00pm. For Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday my school finishes at 4:00pm. Wednesday is a good day cause I can enjoy life for a bit longer. I love life.
I always hate getting too much homework on school days. Have you ever have the feeling that homework is too long that you want to just skip all that work and just go live your life how you want it to be?
I wish I just have all the time in the world to do anything and everything. I wish I can have everything I wanted.
Dreams and wishes can't happened unless you work very hard to earn them.

"Umm..Blake. Hello?" Jacob said with a confuse look on his face.
We were both at our lockers.
"Sorry Jacob, I was just thinking of something" I said to him.
"Oh, well what were you thinking of?" he asked.
I was thinking of what happened at the gym with David nearly two weeks ago.
"I was thinking of my... Brother" I lied to him.
"Oh your brother? Why?" He wondered
"Cuz he's my little bro. Why are you asking?"
"It's just that you've been like this for days Blake" he said.
"What do you mean? I said.
"I mean your kinda quiet" he told me.
"I know. It's just that I'm not really focusing on myself you know"
"Oh, well if you need anything or any help just let me know"
"Thanks Jacob"

I grabbed my science textbook, French textbook and my copybooks from my locker.
"Do you mind Blake" somebody said rudely to me from behind.
I turned around to face James. James is a classmate from my class. I don't really like James that much.
"Sorry James" I said to him
He ignored me and looked away. He opened his locker which is located next to my locker.
I walked away with Jacob from the lockers to our next class which was French.
We sat there for five minutes, waiting patiently for the class to start.

"Ready for French? " I said to him
"Never been better" Jacob said sarcastically
"Don't be. Not everyone is....."
"Bonjour" the French teacher said as she walked in the room.
"Bonjour Madame" we said as a class.
"Everyone, today we will learn more verbs in French" she said.
I really like my French teacher. She is really nice but sometimes she is easily angry.

Fifteen minutes in class, Ryan and the other boys next to him started to make noises.
They would make inappropriate noises. Noises like when someone has an orgasm.
Jeez, my class is so.. Gay.
"Silence" the French teacher said in an French accent.
The boys kept on doing this noise until the class ended.
I do like my class but there would always be one good side and one bad side of my class.
In my perspective, the good side in my class would be myself , Jacob, Max, Mohammad, David, Liam, Peter and a few others and the bad side would be like Ryan, James, Damian, Kyle and a few others.

The class ended with the French teacher very annoyed.
Next class was English.
We learned about poems and poetic techniques poets used to make and wrote poems.
I really like learning English except learning about poems.
No offence to the poets out there but I don't think I need to learn poems since I won't be a poet in the future.
English had ended and it was science class next.

"Hello everyone" said the teacher.
"Hi" we all said.
"Today we are going to do a project" the teacher said happily.
I sighted and I looked around the room to see everybody sight.
"There are four topics you can do. You can do a project on either the Solar System, Energy, The Habitats or Digestive System. I have assigned each of every one of you a partner" the science teacher announced to all of us.
I was kinda nervous who I'm going to be with. I was hoping I won't be partners with somebody who is lazy to do the work.
"Kyle and Scott, Finn and Alex, Jacob and Mohammad, Ryan and James, Max and Liam, Callum and John, Damian and Peter, Blake and David"

My heart sank in the very bottom part of my body. I was partners with David. DAVID!!!
David the guy I like, David the guy I love, David the guy who I wanted to be with forever in the end.
I never felt so alive. I just want to go over there to hug that teacher for picking David as my partner but anyways that would be weird.
"So everyone this project can be done on a big PowerPoint presentation which is on a big screen or it can be done as a speech or it can be done as a poster but on a big A2 poster. This project will take two weeks to do. So be ready and prepared to do so" the teacher explained.
Everyone walked over to their partners. I walked over to David who was sitting at the back middle row of the class.

"Hey" I hear myself say
"Hi Blake" David said.
A few seconds of silence was upon us.
"So um.. since your my partner you pick the topic" I told him
"Okay umm.. Do you want to do the Solar System? I think it's pretty cool and very interesting to do, if you don't mind Blake" he said and smiled.
I hate it when David smiles a lot. He has such a beautiful smile. It makes me want him even more. Please stop doing it!
"I don't mind doing the Solar System" I told him.
"Cool. Okay so me and you can both do the writing part and you can also draw the diagrams since your the artistic one" he said.
He called be artistic. David Flynn called me artistic.

David's POV (point of view)
I think it would be great if Blake does the drawing. I still suck at drawing.
Blake was shy when he came towards me. Maybe he's gay. No, maybe it's just that I did a bad impression.
"We need A2 paper for this project you know" Blake said
"I know. I'll buy the A2 paper so you don't worry" I told him.
"Okay"
I told Blake that I should buy the paper since for what he did for me last time.
"David since this project is two weeks long, how do we work together since we have school and we live apart?" Blake said.

Blake Ramos was that type of guy who's always worried when we do activities like PE, projects, group works and speeches. Not everyone is good at those but Blake is one of those people.
"We can't do it here cause we need a computer and I live a bit furthest away from the school" I told him
"Hey David, you can come to my house to do the project there" Blake suggest.
Well that was quick.
"I don't know if that's a good idea" I said to him. I started to notice that my cheeks are turning a bit pink.
I don't really go to other people's houses because I might do something bad like a bad impression.
"But I live about ten minutes ish from the school" Blake explained.
"Well, what about your parents? Will they mind? I asked him.
"Don't worry about that David. My parents won't mind" Blake said.
"Okay, well when do you wanna start" I asked.

Blake was thinking at the top of his head.
"Wanna do it today?" He said.
"Not today " I told him. Today is bad to do it, since we have lots of homework.
"Tomorrow? Tomorrow it's Friday" he said
I didn't want to do the project Friday but I have to, since this project can be done ahead of everyone.
"I guess so. But do you have any plans to do tomorrow ? I don't want to ruin your plans" I said to him.
"I have no plans for tomorrow. What about you?" Blake questioned.
"Same, I don't have any plans" I said.

The bell rang which means the class had ended.
I packed my bag and we made our way to the hallway to have lunch.
"So I guess I'll see you Tomorrow" I told him.
"Yeah" he said.
Blake stared at me, but it wasn't a weird stare. His brown eyes made contact with my own eyes.
"After school tomorrow, I'll walk with you to your house" I told him
"Cool" he said

Jacob came from behind Blake.
"Blake let's go" Jacob told him
Blake turned around to talk to his friend Jacob.
They both walked away from me to go to their lockers.
I turned around to head outside. I didn't want to interrupt Blake's conversation with Jacob.
"Hey David, how are you?" Finn said.
"I'm great, thanks for asking"
And so the day had ended again like any usual school day.
