Chapter 15: The hangout
David's POV (point of view)June 4th 2019.
It was summer. No more school days until September. Yay!!!
"So... who's coming again?" My Mom said.
"Mohammad, Liam and Blake remember? They're my friends" I said to my Mom to remind her.
I invited Mohammad, Liam and Blake to hangout with me at my house since they are my friends.
They are actually my first three Asian friends. I didn't mean that in a racist way.
But although they are very nice and they are great friends to me.Ding Dong!
I heard the bell rang.
"I guess that's them" I said excitedly.
My Mom smiled and kissed me on the forehead before she fled upstairs to her room, so me and the boys can use the first floor.
I pulled myself upwards from the couch and walked towards the front door, where my friends are waiting at.
I unlock and swiftly pull open the door to see...
Mohammad and Liam here first."Hey Davie!" Mohammad greeted in a childish way. I hate it when he calls me Davie.
"Hi David!" Liam greeted right after Mohammad.
"Hey guys!" I said to the both of them.
"Come inside!"
The two boys step foot inside my house.
"How did you guys get here?" I asked them.
"We just took the bus going to your route since me and Mohammad uses the same bus" Liam answered."Cool. And did you see Blake yet?" I said.
"He's coming?"
"Yeah, he's my friend too. Why? You don't like Blake?" I joked around.
"I never said that" Liam said as he put up both of his hands in the air.
"I was just joking" I told him and patted him on the back.
I showed them the way to the living room so that they can sit down."Nice jersey" Mohammad said as he pointed at my white sport jersey.
"Thanks. I just got it yesterday in the city"
"Well it looks good" Mohammad said again.
Crash!
"What was that?" Mohammad said.
Me and the boys were confused at where the sound came from."Shit!"
I heard a voice from the kitchen and I knew who's voice that was.
The voice came from the kitchen.
"Stay here a second okay!" I told the boys who were both sitting on the couch, looking confused.
I stood back up and went for the kitchen.
I went up behind the counter to see...
"Hey! What happened?!" I said.
It was my 12 year old sister."The mug bursted!" She said
"Did you mix cold water and hot water?" I asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"Jesus Kate!"
"Hey! What's going on here!" My Mom said, with her hands on her hips."I was making coco then the mug burst!" Katie said.
"Katie, you gotta be more care...."
Ding Dong!
"Who's that?" Katie said.
"Oh. That could be Blake" I told her.
"David, can you help me clean this mess ? And Katie can you get the door?" My Mom told.I lowered myself to pick up all the small broken pieces from the mug.
"Make sure you don't cut yourself!" my Mom warned me.
I scoop up the pieces from the floor and put them in the bin while my Mom mopped the floor.
"What happened here?" Blake said as he looked around in the kitchen.
"Oh it's nothing just a little accident" I said
"Hey David, you can go with your friends while I'll clean up the mess" my Mom suggested."Okay" I said.
I went back to the living room where Mohammad and Liam are at.
"Hey guys!" Blake said.
"Blake! Good to see you bro" Mohammad said and did a fist bump to him.
"Hi Blake" Liam said.
"Hi Liam" Blake greeted."Okay now that the introduction is over, what do you guys wanna do?" I asked them
The boys looked at each other and shrugged their shoulders.
"PlayStation?"
"Yeah" Liam said
"What game? FIFA?" I suggested
"No!"
"Okay... Fortnite?" I suggested again
"No!" Blake and Mohammad said.
I guess both of them not fans.
"Yes!" Liam said."Okay. Fortnite it is!" I said
"Why?!" Mohammad said.
"Well Liam wants to play. So you and Blake, can just wait there until we finish or we can play a different game later" I told them so.
"Fine" Mohammad pouted.
I started the game on the PS4
