Enjoy this piece of garbage that I wrote because of a insta post I saw
John had been wanting to propose to Sherlock for a while now but he could never find the right moment or words.
Whenever he thought he could do it, a case would pop up or he would chicken out and change the subject. But not today.
Sherlock and John had decided to go to an abandoned beach for the day. It was all romantic and John knew today was the day he was going to propose. They were sat down on a rock and suddenly Sherlocks phone started ringing.
John rolled his eyes slightly as he answered and began shouting.
"WHAT- NO WAY... Yeah..mhm. We'll be right over" Sherlock turned to John. "Come on John we have to get back to Baker Street!"
"But-" John began.
"NO BUTS JOHN LESTRADE HAS A CASE LETS GO" Sherlock said jumping to his feet.
This made John so angry he stood up and yelled at Sherlock.
"WILLIAM" John knew that Sherlock hated his first name but also knew that if he used it Sherlock would fire back.
"SHERLOCK" Sherlock replied almost instantly as he hated being called by his first name.
John suddenly got an idea and yelled "SCOTT".
"HOLMES" Sherlock finished and walked up to John.
"...Watson" John said as he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring.
Sherlock gasped and went red.
"Marry me?" John almost mumbled.
Sherlock knelt down and made eye contact with John "....yes" he said and pulled John into a passionate kiss.
Sherlock then cancelled the case with Greg and they spent the rest of their day on the beach.
