Always By My Side

Get ready for some angsty sh*t cause this ain't gonna be fun. Also in this story John lives with Sherlock and Mary was never pregnant.

It had been two weeks after Mary's death. Sherlock and John hadn't spoken to each other for weeks. Well...Sherlock had tried to make conversation but John brushed him off.

After the 2 weeks were almost up, John finally spoke. Well- more like shouted. Sherlock had tried to make conversation as he usually does by saying "lovely night, isn't it John?"

John replied, "you know what Sherlock? It's not a lovely night because my wife is dead when it should've been you. As a matter of fact I wish it was you!" He then stormed up the stairs and went to bed, leaving a shell shocked Sherlock downstairs.

It was the next morning and John slowly opened his eyes.

"Oh good, you're awake" Mary said smiling.

"Go away Sher- wait..Mary?" John said clearly taken a back.

"Oh John..still dreaming about Sherlock? He's dead John..it's been years." Mary said taking John into her arms.

John obviously had no idea what was going on so he just sort of sat there..in his apparently no longer dead wife's embrace.

"Come on, get dressed or you'll be late for work" Mary said standing up.

John obeyed. He obviously wasn't going to work. He was going to visit sherlocks grave. He was going to find out what the bloody hell happened. He kissed Mary on the cheek and set off to "work."

As he came up to the grave yard John saw a tall figure standing by a grave that read Sherlock Holmes.

"Hello John.." the figure said. John looked towards him and his eyes widened.

"Sherlock?"

"Not quite.." he began. "I am your conscience and I have taken the form of your best friend.. you see John. I am here to show you what life would be like for you if Mary was still alive.. at the end of the week you will decide wether you stay here. Or go back to your reality.."

The figure who looked like Sherlock then disappeared leaving John very confused to say the least. 

"Alright...let's do this"

Heyyyyy!!! So this story is gonna be split into 2-4 parts because....I want to xD
