Sweet Blissful Hell (Hawks x Reader x Dabi)

Chapter 8

"The one thing I do miss is just transforming into random animals in front of kids, they loved it" You said pulling out your old hero uniform, it smelt of smoke and has a little rubble still on it from your last hurrah. You heard the door open and someone shout a greeting, you bolted to put everything away, your roommate was home.

"Oh, Hi Celine!" You greeted poking your head out from the door, smiling to her. She put her bag down and Mochi went running up to her. She cocked her head after petting the pups head. She was a little bit taller than you, blonde short hair with a shaved side, she had some jeans and a sweater on today.

"What are you doing in there?" She questioned, you stepped out and breathed, she noticed your hoodie and smiled. "You haven't worn that old thing for a while"

"Yeah, there's a reason for that" You scratched the back of your neck and stepped aside allowing Keigo to poke his head round, he waved as Celine squeaked. 

"H-How! Why is Hawks in our apartment?!" You ran over to calm her down and Keigo stepped out and was confused.

"I'm sorry, he came with me, I met him on my night out last night!" You explained.

"So you brought him back here? Also," She hit your arm causing you to yelp. "That's for not texting me or anyone where you were!" 

"I'm sorry, that's my fault, I should probably introduce myself properly huh? I'm Hawks but call me Keigo" He waltzed over and held his hand out smiling politely. Celine looked at him with a  scowl and eventually shook his hand.

"Hurt her and I'll rip your wings off bird boy" She threatened. You went wide eyed at her words and clapped your hand over her mouth.

"Celine!" You looked to Keigo who couldn't control himself, he burst out laughing and you both looked at him in confusion. 

"S-Sorry," He said wiping a tear from his eye "I don't intent on doing that and I like you already, straight forward." He sighed trying to regain his composure. You grinned at him, glad that he already liked your roommate and bestie. You just hoped she liked him as well, not just as a pro hero but as Keigo.

"Are you hungry Celine? How was work?" You asked trying to change the subject of there being a pro hero in the flat. She nodded, flopping onto the couch and leaning her head back, you quickly ran to the kitchen and brought back a beer and some take away menus, placing them by her as you popped yourself onto the floor in front of her, Keigo sat next to Celine on the couch, perched on the edge. He didn't understand why you didn't sit on the other couch but didn't question it.

"You want a beer Keigo, god that feels weird saying that" She  asked, you were surprised, she never offered anyone a beer, ever! He briefly looked to you as if to ask what to do, you shrugged your shoulders.

"If that's okay, yeah that'd be nice, thanks Celine" He said, before he could get up you ran to the kitchen and came back passing the cool beer to him. He was surprised that you did that, not expecting you to get it for him, he smiled and thanked you.

"What we having then?" You asked, she looked up from the menus and took a swig from the can.

"First of your gonna tell me what's going on" She stated coldly. You exchanged a quick glance to Keigo before looking back to her.

"W-what do you mean?" You asked acting innocent.

"Your eyes are still red, you've got that old hoodie on and your acting off, sitting on the floor like Mochi" You looked down to your side and saw Mochi sitting in a similar position to you. She raised an eyebrow to you and set her drink down on the table beside the couch.

"I-I don't know what you mean I mean umm" You word vomited for a few minutes trying to think of something but gave up. "Just went through some old stuff that brought back memories" You trailed off rubbing your arm.

"Box under the bed?" She asked calmly, you just nodded in response, she sighed and got up heading to your room. 

"Umm, I'm confused" Keigo said looking to you.

"I said to her if I ever had flashbacks and was in a state similar to this she could go in the box, it was a promise from years and years ago so I didn't think this would ever happen, it's the only reason I agreed to it" As you spoke Celine came back with a few items and looked at you. She threw 2 photos and your costume to the floor in front of you, you flinched as she came down to your level quite intimidatingly.

"C-Celine it was my fault, I brought it all up!" Keigo quickly said standing to try and defend you, she held up a single finger to silence him.

"I'm not talking to you bird" She said coldly, you were scared to meet her gaze, if there was one thing you didn't like it was went she got mad. It never ended well.

"You don't have to tell me, I can tell from these things, I get it" She spoke with a sweetness in her voice, you looked into her eyes to see sincerity. Pulling you into an embrace filled with love.

"I went to UA as well, I quit the hero course to do something else, you know that so you know you could've told me" You tilted your face into the crook of her neck and held her tightly. You let yourself cry for a few minutes, you felt like a cage had been opened now your best friend knew your secret. Keigo watched the moment with fondness, he could see how much you needed to let everything out after keeping it all bottled up for years.

He lent down to the both of you and put a hand on your back, rubbing slowly to comfort you. Celine saw him and he noticed she mouthed him a thank you before dragging him by the collar to join you both in a hug. 

Once you felt better and had stopped crying they let you go, you picked up the items and held them close before putting them to the side to put away later. You didn't have the energy to do it now. Mochi jumped up at you and licked your cheek before settling down beside you.

"Food" Celine said before flapping a menu on your head, you chuckled lightly , wiping what tears remained from your eyes onto the hoodie's sleeves. She went to the phone and ordered something, you couldn't make out what as she went into the kitchen. 

"You okay?" Keigo asked, helping you stand and sit on the couch. You nodded slowly.

"I will be now"
