Sweet Blissful Hell (Hawks x Reader x Dabi)

Chapter 34

Keigo decided he didn't want to be seen in public so he went back to his apartment, Dabi just followed him, they took a taxi as they both decided that walking was a no go, they were too exhausted. They didn't really speak to each other the whole way there or in the lift up to Keigo's. As they both walked in they slumped down on the couch facing the TV, Dabi let out a long sigh and Keigo leant onto his knees with his head in his hands.

"You know where the food is, help yourself" Keigo muttered, Dabi just put a hand on his shoulder, causing him to look up and catch his gaze.

"You're not alone you know" He mentioned before getting up and heading to the kitchen. He decided that if you weren't around to take care of the hawk then he would it for you, you would be upset with them both if they didn't look after each other. Keigo eventually got up and went to the bathroom to shower properly.

He took his sweet time, washing himself and his hair before just standing under the water, hand on the wall to hold himself upright. He didn't care how long he had been standing there, he just kept thinking about the last time he saw you, plunging into that inferno and him finding your body under all the rubble. His hand curled up into a fist as the images kept flashing through his head.

Dabi had just finished putting the rice cooker on and had chicken in bread crumbs in the oven when he heard a loud noise coming from Keigo's room, he was quick to go in there and look for the bird.

"Keigo? Birdy, you okay?" He called, hearing small hiccups coming from the bathroom, he opened the door to find Keigo in the bath, water still running, a few broken tiles and blood. He took a towel of the rack and turned the water off before he draped the towel over his shoulders, taking his bleeding hand and wrapping it in another towel.

The crimson wings of the hero had sunk down, he lifted his head to look Dabi in the eyes, his own filled with tears as he saw them welling up in the cerulean eyes he gazed at. They embraced each other in a flash and let out 2 weeks of pent up frustration, sadness and loneliness without you there to keep them both company.

They held each other so tightly and started to slowly let go when they both had it all out, they smiled at each other, Keigo quickly wrapped himself in the towel, making sure to keep his hurt hand out so he didn't have to throw another towel out.

"I'll leave you be for a bit, foods almost ready" Dabi mentioned before leaving him be and heading back to the kitchen to check the food. Keigo carefully dried himself, wrapping the towel around his waist. He got out the little medical kit he kept in the bathroom and got out some bandages, he cleaned his hand and got out and fragments of tile that were stuck in his skin. 

He winced at the alcohol wipes he used to sterilise his hand and wrapped the bandages around it, he'd get the hospital staff to check it over when he got back to you. He dried himself off and got dressed in some joggers and a t-shirt, heading into the main living area to see Dabi plating up a heaping portion of rice and chicken with some packet katsu curry sauce, the smell alone made Keigo's mouth water.

"Come get it then" He dashed over to grab the streaming hot plate of food from Dabi's hands and the cutlery of the side to sit down on the couch and start eating. The raven haired man soon joined him and sat next to him, both their plates were pilled high with food as they started to eat. They hadn't had a proper meal since you went into the hospital, living off very little.

The food was a welcomed changed to the junk they had been consuming, it was real food and they were both thankful for it. They hadn't realised how much time had passed as they wolfed the food down, they both soon started to yawn, neither one had actually slept properly so the couch felt like the comfiest thing in the world. 

Their plates were on the coffee table as they sat there just talking about random things and what they would do with you when you woke up, as they spoke, they started to close their eyes and eventually nodded off to sleep.
