Hermione and I entered the common room, giggling and laughing like normal. Harry, Ron, Seamus, Dean, Neville, and Ginny were all seated around the fire.
"Hey guys," I smiled.
"Hey," they said back.
Hermione sat down next to Ron, and I took the only seat left, in between Harry and Seamus. I sent a nervous look at Hermione and Ginny. They watched me sit down. I crossed my arms and sat straight up, keeping to myself.
"How'd your day go?" Seamus asked, turning to face me.
"Fine," I kinda blew him off. I didn't really want to get a close and personal with him. I was fine with being friends and everything, but he was trying too hard.
He rolled his eyes and turned away from me.
"Do you really have to be like that?" I whispered at him.
He looked back at me. "Yep."
"You're acting like a little kid," I continued.
"You are too."
"And how am I doing that?" I continued.
"You always are, if you don't get something you want, or have full control over it, you pout," he said.
Ginny cleared her throat. "So does anyone have any big plans for the night?"
"Wanna play chess?" Harry asked me.
"I've never played, I doubt I'd be any good," I smiled.
"It's not that hard, as long as you're not playing Ron," Harry scoffed.
"Okay, I'll try anything once," I said standing up. I could feel Seamus' eyes glaring in my back.
We sat down at the table and set up the board.
"I have no idea what I'm doing," I shook me head.
"It's simple, all you have to do is get my king," Harry smiled.
Ron walked over to us. "Have you played before?"
"Never,"
"Alright, I'll help you," Ron agreed.
"I don't need help, just instruction," I smirked.
"But you said you'd never played," He pouted.
"I haven't,"
"Oh." He paused, and then whispered, "What's Seamus' deal?"
"I don't know, he just being an ass, like normal,"
"Still not over you, huh?" He said, setting the pieces in place.
"He seemed pretty much over me when he kissed that other girl, but I guess not," I said, staring at the board.
Ron pretty much took control over my spot, and played Harry. Of course, Ron won.
I moved, and sat facing Seamus. He kept his eyes on me, begging for some sort of interaction between us. His eyes looked sad, like he knew what he lost, but he had no chance of getting it back.
"Shall we got to supper?" I asked Hermione and Ginny.
"We shall," Ginny giggled.
We said our 'see ya laters', and headed out.
We left the room, not knowing we were being followed. "You too go ahead," I had a feeling I knew who it was. I slowed down, to a slow shuffle. My follower spun me around, and kissed me, a kiss full of passion, yet like it was needed for him to carry on.
