I glanced at the stairs, sighing in relief. It was just Mrs. Norris, Filch's cat. Filch was like Hogwarts' janitor/groundskeeper. He also was a huge tattletale. If you weren't going to get caught by him, you'd better watch out for his cat, who would tell on you to Filch. The cat meowed and bolted down the stairs.

"Bloody cat," Draco said under his breath, as his stood up.

I smiled at his remark. "I'll see you at supper,"

"Hhmph,' he pouted, crossing his arms.

He looked so amazing. For being twittepated, and anxious, and worried, and so full of emotion, he looked amazing.

I smiled and walked over to him, taking his hands in mine. "If we don't go now, we're going to get caught, Draco,"

"I though you were a rebel," he smirked. He leaned in to kiss me, but I pulled away and walked down the stairs to the Gryffindor rooms. Ginny and Hermione were just leaving. "Hey, wait up!'

They spun around, "Ella, how'd you get up here?" Ginny asked.

"Twins' secret passageways gone wrong," I lied.

"What are you doing, Malfoy," Hermione spat as Draco turned the corner.

"None of your business," he scoffed, and went down the stairs.

"Finally gets what he deserves, I wish Harry would've hit him harder and really done some damage," she continued.

Ouch, that hurt.

"Let's go to dinner," I said, changing the subject. I was desperately craving a baked potato.

We arrived in the Great Hall giggling, and took our normal spots next to Ron and Harry. I still hadn't talked to Seamus, for fear of messing things up further. He sat diagonal from me.

"Ella, I still wanna be friends," he blurted out.

"Ok," I said, emotionless.

"Is that a yes? Or do I have to get down on my knees and beg?" he questioned.

I smiled," It's a yes. But if you pull any of your bs, no third chances," I said seriously.

I glanced over at the Slytherin table, Draco was looking towards me.

"Why is he staring?" Harry said.

"I don't know," I said, shoving baked potato into my mouth.

"Have you talked to him since this morning?" Harry continued.

"No."

"Oh, well, make sure you stay away from him, he's bad news, Ella,"

"I know, Harry, I can make decisions for myself," I stood up, somewhat disgusted that he didn't trust me enough to handle myself. I walked out of the Great Hall and climbed the stairs to the Gryffindor rooms. I jumped over the back of one of the squishy couches and landed on my back. I sighed. "Isn't school wonderful. It's only been a week, and I've already had enough drama for year!"

"I know, right."

I sat up and peeked over the couch.

"Sorry, you looked upset, and if we're going to make this friend thing work, I thought I'd try with this,"

Seamus. I smiled. "Always trying to be a good guy, eh?" I smirked.

He shrugged his shoulders and sat down next to me. "Wanna talk about it?"

"Nope,"

"Oh, well this is awkward," he replied.

I punched his arm playfully. "Don't worry about me, Seamus," I continued.
