Jeongin's POV:

Beep. Beep. Beep

I woke up to the sound of a heart monitor beeping slowly, yet audibly. My eyes fluttered open to the sight of my friends surrounding me. I scanned their worried expressions, my eyes moving staggered like. Yes, it was all of them. All except...

"Y/N is waiting outside. She couldn't see you like this," Hyunjin suddenly blurted out as though he read my mind. I darted my tired eyes to the room's singular door. My eyes met Y/N's for a second. She gasped and turned away, her back facing me.

"Couldn't see my like what?" I tried to sit up. As soon as I did, I understood what Hyunjin said. I felt pain instantly surge through my body. I moved my arms in front of me, only to be met with a black, blue, and bloody site. My back ached, my eyes felt swollen, and my left leg felt broken. The worst part? I couldn't remember anything that had happened. My mind was a blank canvas.

"What happened to me? Was I in an accident?"

"If you want to put it like that," Seungmin jokingly replied. Hyunjin nudged his arm a bit hard and looked up at me.

"You told me you we're jumped by some thugs or something," Hyunjin replied kind of reluctantly. That's when it all came back to me. I remembered what had happened and how I had ended up like this.

"Who was it, mate?" Chan asked me, sounding super concerned.

"It was Taeyong..." Everyone's face practically dropped once I said that. Not in a surprised way, but in a sort of "We all knew it was coming" way.

"I knew that bastard couldn't be trusted," Hyunjin grumbled out. "Something about Y/N I assume?"

"Yea. I don't know what about though." I let out a small sigh before I said something I wish I hadn't. "Well this sucks. And I have to leave out in a couple weeks so it just makes it worse." The room went completely silent as everyone looked down. That is, before one soft voice spoke up.

"You're leaving?" I turned towards the door and, as the universe just had to have it, Y/N had walked in at that exact moment.

"You never told her?" I wish Hyunjin knew how to keep his mouth shut. I shook my head no. I wanted to tell her, but I didn't have the guts to. I just got back. It would crush her if she knew I was leaving again.

"Tell me what? Where are you going?" Y/N's voice sounded a lot more hurt and stern. I motioned to everybody to leave the room. They quickly got the hint and quickly rushed out of the room. I turned around to face Y/N. Her face was stained with tears and she had her arms crossed.

This is going to be fun.
