Y/N's POV:

At least, that's what I wish would've happened. Instead, being the stubborn ass I am, I pushed Jeongin off of me and wiped my lips about ten thousand times.

"What the hell Jeongin?!" I yelled out so loud to where a nurse passing by peered in the window to make sure everything was alright. "Why did you do that?!"

"I had to shut you up somehow," Jeongin replied, a hint of sadness prominent in his voice.

"You could've just covered my mouth!"

"Well, technically I did!" he replied smirking

"With your hand, idiot!" Jeongin nodded a bit disappointed. He doesn't understand how much  I wanted to kiss him back. But like I said: Every guy I've been with before has hurt me in one way or another. I knew Jeongin would never treat me like that, but I didn't want to risk it.

"That was so uncalled for!" I made a kind of over-exaggerated comment in hopes he would leave, but, as always, he stayed put.

"Can you just leave?" I thought to myself.

"I'll leave if you listen to me," he suddenly blurted out, seeming as if he was reading my mind.

"You took my first kiss idiot!" I complained, wiping my mouth again.

"Well, that was technically mine too..." he trailed off fiddling with his thumbs.

"AS IF! There is no way you went five years in America without kissing one girl!"

"You really think I'm like that, Y/N? You think I would just, leave Korea and forget about you for five years?" Jeongin's voice had raised about two octaves and he ran his fingers stress-like through his hair.

"Honestly? Yea, Innie. I thought you had. I thought you-"

"Do you want me to kiss you again?" Jeongin cut me off, and hearing his comment, I couldn't help but giggle. Then, Jeongin said something kind of catching me off guard.

"Do you wanna know why I never contacted you?"

"Yes. Yes I do. So start explaining. Now."

Jeongin sighed deeply and said, "It was my mom."

   "Huh? What do you mean?"

"My mom is the one who made so I couldn't talk to you. She deleted your phone number and being as forgetful as I am," Jeongin sighed and smacked his hands over his face.

"I'm sorry, Baby Bear. I really am-"

"Why? It wasn't your fault," Jeongin looked up at me with bright eyes.

"Wait, so...you aren't mad?" I let out a small sigh before sitting up.

"Well, I can't say I wasn't. But hearing the true story clears it up I guess." Jeongin let out a small smile before taking my hand gently.

"So...Friends?" he asked with a signature Innie grin. I just chuckled at his little antics.

"When did we stop being friends?" I chuckled along with him, slowly wrapping my arms around him and hugging him close. All of a sudden, I had and urge to hold him close forever and never let go. He pecked my forehead softly, and we just stayed that way for a few minutes.

"Yo! Jeongin, you almost done in there?" Seungmin yelled from outside of the door. Jeongin pouted and sadly pulled away from me.

"I'll come pick you up tomorrow," Jeongin waves and walks out of the room, and almost immediately, Jeongyeon and my other friend, Jihyo came in.

"Alright, so spill the tea sis," Jihyo said smiling as Jeongyeon turned towards her, a playful expression of disgust on her face.

"Never. Say that again," she remarked as Jihyo nudged her. "So, what happened Y/N?"

"Well, we just talked a couple things out, and I think everything's good between us now."

"That's awesome! But just a heads up, if he hurts you, I'm not afraid to make murder legal," Jihyo giggled and patted my shoulder.

"And I'll help!" Jeongyeon giggled with Jihyo as they stood up to leave, wishing me well. I fell back on the pillows and smiled. Today ended up ending well after all.

No one's POV:

The next day, you woke up early, ready to be discharged from the hospital. The nurses checked all of your vital signs and made sure you ate breakfast before releasing you. You changed into a warm hoodie and sweatpants and went outside, expecting to see Jeongin. Instead you saw-

   "Channie?" you said curiously.

"Oh, hey, Y/N. Jeongin said for me to come pick you up. Apparently he's doing something at y'all's house. By the way, you two live together?"

"Oh, yea, it's uh, kind of a long story." Bang Chan nodded and opened his car door for you. The whole drive to your house was a bit awkward, considering how Chan was your ex. He'd ask small questions during the ride like how you've been, if you got a good sleep, etc. Guarantee, he was your ex, but he still cared about you.

As you finally arrived home, you heard commotion inside the house, mainly your friend Minho play fighting with Seungmin and yelling that the "pop didn't go there." You curiously ventured into the doorway, catching the eye of Hyunjin first.

"Guys! She's home!" Hyunjin yelled out from the living room. Seungmin, Minho, Jihyo and Jeongyeon froze in there place and awkwardly smiled. Well, everyone smiled except Minho.

"Chan! You were supposed to keep her out of the house until Jeongin sent the code word!" he said, getting Seungmin off of his back.

"I uh, forgot?" You and Chan giggled, as you blatantly scanned for Jeongin. As if your mind had been read, Jeongin came out of his bedroom holding your favorite candy behind his back.

"H-hey, Y/N," he had the widest smile on his face as he walked up to you.

"Hiya Innie," you said smiling brighter if that was possible. Jeongin motioned for you to come with him, taking your hand softly. He led you to the back room that was next to your bedroom. He smiled in a cheeky sort of way before he opened the door. Your eyes were dazzled by what you saw...
