Y/N's POV:

A surge of pain swept through my tender body as I felt a piercing stare fall upon me. When I opened my squinted eyes just a bit, I saw a pair of dull green ones staring back, although not with the look of I had. They were angry, like two dragon eyes staring upon it's prey. She opened her mouth, letting out a blaze of fire that was her words.

"I thought I told you to stay away from him," she said adding a blow to my left knee.

"S-stay away from who?" I winced out in between her kicks and punches.

"Don't play dumb with me, Y/N! You know who I'm talking about!" I looked up at her with tears in my eyes, not from fear but pain. As soon as she saw my tears, she scoffed and added, "Aww! Is the poor baby scared?" Her little gang just snickered and pointed at me, muttering incoherent nothings, but knowing their nature, I could imagine what they were.

"I-I'm not afraid of you," I stuttered out in between the sparks of pain.

"HAH! That's a laugh! You've been scared of me since 4th grade! It's obvious you were jealous of how much he was interested in me and not you!" She flaunted this in her typical stuck up manner. If only she knew the truth.

"Fourth grade huh? You mean when we used to be friends?" She turned away ignoring my question, but I carried on. "When a boy got more important than your 'best friend?" She kept ignoring me, whispering to her friends. I still carried on. I'll admit: I felt like being a bitch to her. She's tortured me for years. Now it's my turn.

"By the way," I continued on, "what is there to be jealous of? I don't want to be as dumb as you, or have your personality. Being myself is the best thing I can be. So uh, can you go now because I'm sure Innie is looking for me. Y'know, his best friend? The one he actually likes?" At those words, Arin snapped. She grabbed my shoulder and slammed me as hard as she could against the brick wall.

"You really think that's funny? Well, you're in for a rude awakening, Y/N." She snapped her fingers and immediately, her little gang descended upon me. I can't remember all of the details of what happened next. All I know is that a blue haired girl named Mimi punched the right side of my face so hard, I was knocked out hard. Somehow, I could still feel everything. Whether it was aggressive punches to my face and chest, or scratches down my arms and back. I could even feel them ripping my jacket into pieces.

When I finally regained consciousness, I didn't want to open my eyes. Every single part of my body hurt. I felt like I couldn't even move. I could barely hear or smell. Blood was trickling down my nose and I just knew I was covered with bruises. My ears where ringing severely, but what I could hear made my heart drop.

"Y/N! Y/N! Where are you? Y/- OH MY GOD!" Pounding footsteps came near me and I was shook aggressively."OH MY GOD Y/N! PLEASE WAKE UP! W-WHAT HAPPENED!" I fluttered my eyes open, longing to hear some more of the sweet music of my best friend's voice. My eyes were shut once more as I slowly faded out of consciousness...
