Y/N's POV:

Jeongin's hand slowly turned the bronze door handle, revealing a wondrous sight. My now brightened eyes scanned the room, slowly analyzing every detail I could see.

Jeongin had brought our hang-out room back to life. The matte black coats of paint had now been topped by a glossy sheen of baby blue. Every Polaroid or picture we ever took together hanged on the walls in strings, golden stars placed neatly in between each one. The once broken bed looked as good as new, neatly made with a light grey comforter and fluffy white pillows. Every thing we've ever had filled the room, from video game consoles to art supplies, just our old memories all together in one room.

I turned to Jeongin, smiling as wide as the Cheshire Cat and gently bringing him into a hug.

"You did all of this?" I softly asked, allowing a small tear to flow down my cheek. Jeongin held me close to him while gently stroking my hair. He softly moved his grip to my shoulders and looked at me with bright doe eyes.

"Mhm. Well, I had help of course," Jeongin slightly chuckled as he motioned to the others. I smiled brightly at them, taking another swift glance around the room. Every memory we had together was restored. In that moment, life felt perfect.

"This is too much. I was only in the hospital for a few days!" I giggled as Jeongin rolled his eyes, then playfully shoved me.

"So? Nothing is too much for a best friend." I heard a cough in the distance, most likely coming from Jeongyeon being...well, Jeongyeon.

"Speaking of nothing being too much, here ya go!" Jeongin took out some (insert your favorite candy/chocolate here) and placed it in my hand.

"I can't with you Yang Jeongin!" I smiled once again. I think today might be one in which I've been the happiest. "Thank you, Innie." Jeongin pulled me back into a hug, I assume as a wa of saying 'you're welcome.'

"Well, we'll leave you two alone," Hyunjin promptly said. However, Seungmin grabbed his arm and pulled him back into the room.

"Hyunnie, I don't think we can trust these kids by themselves," Seungmin raised his eyebrows, adding extra emphasis on the word 'kids.' "Weren't we planning on playing truth or dare?"

Jeongin and I glanced at each other then we playfully rolled our eyes. Knowing how our friends are, we knew what questions were most likely going to arise.

"Oh right! Let's play then shall we?" Hyunjin replied smirking. As if we were kids in kindergarten, we sat in a circle as Chan took it upon himself to ask the first person.

"Lee Know, truth or dare?" Minho looked flustered, being caught off guard.

   "Um...truth?"

"Hm, well, do you have a crush on Han Jisung?" Minho's face went cherry bomb red as we all started to giggle, like middle school girls passing secrets in the locker room. Minho mumbled something out that none of us could hear.

"Uh, repeat please? Maybe to where you don't sound like a mou-" Seungmin was cut off by Minho answering, definitely in a more audible tone.

"YESOKAYIREALLYLIKEHIMISTHATGOODENOUGHFORYOU???" We were really blown away by the sudden outburst of emotion, since Minho typically likes to be quiet.

"Well okay then. Who's next?" After about twenty minutes, of which consisted of Seungmin having to name every girl he's ever kissed, didn't take much time by the way, Hyunjin having to run around outside screaming the lyrics to 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,' and Jihyo having to eat a half of an onion, the target landed on me.

"Y/N, truth or dare?" Jihyo asked, an expression of disgust etched on her face from the onion.

"Well, I did dare last time so...dare!"

"Y/N, you literally make no sense," Jihyo giggled, then shifted her gaze up to Jeongin, who was holding me from behind. "Alrighty, well let's get the dare everyone was thinking about out of the way. Y/N...Kiss Jeongin." Innie and I took a quick glance at each other, both of our faces flushed red. I shyly leaned up to Jeongin's cheek, pecking it quickly and sitting back down immediately after. Everyone in the room groaned as if the Packers had lost the Super Bowl.

"Y/N! That was not a kiss!" Jihyo yelled out, almost shattering my eardrums.

"I mean technically it was," I said, mixing a tone of shyness and sarcasm. I felt a soft grip on my shoulder turning me around to face a flushed Jeongin. My mind was drifting until I realized Jeongin was the one who had turned me around.

"Well, if you're not going to do it, I will." Jeongin leaned in placing a soft kiss on my lips. I felt my face go red as I gently kissed back, breaking it shortly after.

"GODDAMN FINALLY! YOU KNOW HOW LONG WE'VE BEEN WAITING FOR Y'ALL TO-" Seungmin covered Hyunjin's mouth while giggling nervously. Jeongin and I just flushed and smiled. I somehow ended up wrapping my arms around Jeongin and falling asleep, that was after Jeongyeon was dared to shove Hyunjin's face in a plate of whipped cream.

Today was perfect. Everything felt amazing. But you know what they always say: After every rainbow is a storm.
