Zora woke the next morning to the feeling of cold metal pressing against her warm cheek. Her eyelids fluttered open slowly adjusting to darkness of the room. The woman had slept quite well despite the fact that she was lying on the floor covered in a small spare blanket and was using a folded stack of various shirts for a pillow.

Zora moved about quietly in the darkness trying to forget about the headache that was beginning to attempt to surface.

"I didn't expect you to be up this early."

Rimmers voice made Zora jump slightly.

"How long have you been up?" She questioned just about making out Rimmers face in  darkness.

"Not long, you talk in your sleep. It woke me up," He explained.

"Oh-" Zora looked down at the floor "-sorry,"

"It's fine. I'd rather listen to your lovely voice than Lister's obnoxious snoring,"

Zora gave a light laugh.

The pair headed out of the dark room and only did Zora realise what a mess she was. Her shirt was covered in curry stains as were her trousers. How she had managed to get in such a state she couldn't recall. She remembered having a curry with Lister sometime around midnight but not that she had managed to spill half of it.

"I think you may have spent too much time around Lister."

"You're telling me." Zora laughed. "Any idea where I can get some more clothes?"

"Well you could always take some of Lister's."

"I want clothes with less curry stains not more!"

"Fine!...you can take some of mine," Rimmer spoke quietly. "My lockers on the far left."

Heading back into the dark room attempting not to wake a loudly snoring Lister was easy unlike attempting to get dressed in the messy room. Rimmer was a decent bit taller meaning length wise the clothes didn't fit. Thankfully she made light work of cuffing both the shirt with various patches , one of which said second technician, and the trousers then slipping on her combat boots. The clothes were surprisingly comfortable once she had decided to leave the last few buttons undone and lightly tuck in the shirt.

She was almost home free when Zora managed to trip over Lister's shoes that he had flung off last night. She landed with a small thud and laid on the floor for a while wondering how she was managing to make such a fool of herself when she hasn't been been awake for more than half an hour.

"You alright there?"

"Yep."

"Are you going to stay on the floor forever or are you actually going to get up. I would help you but it is no longer something I'm able to do." His voice with filled with sadness though Rimmer tried to hide. Zora frowned picking herself off the floor.

"What's it like?" She questioned her curiosity getting the best of her as it so often did.

"Death? Well could be worse certainly could be better." Rimmer began to walk as he talked and Zora kept in step with him.

"Can you feel anything?"

"Nope."

"Let's do something fun." Zora's words cut through the silence that was slowly becoming more depressing.
Rimmer's eyes went wide at the suggestion.

"With me?" He asked pointing to himself not quite believing his luck here was a beautiful woman who hadn't run away and actually wanted to spend time with him.
