Hello, Author here to say I am very sorry that I haven't updated this in a while. I absolutely love writing it but I've been struggling with a bit of writers block recently and I also wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who has read this so far. Hope you enjoy!

Much to Zora and Rimmer's relief, the cinema was completely empty.

No scutters whizzed about the floor for either of them to unceremoniously trip over and more importantly no Cat or Lister to spy on them.

As much as Zora adored the pair she knew how much they could get in Rimmer's nerves from time to time or rather all of the time. They were of course her friends too but Zora was uncertain of whether Rimmer was actually a friend to her or rather becoming something more. She really hoped he was but romance hadn't exactly been a strong suit of hers.

For the whole journey up to the cinema with the pile of snacks and drinks, Zora had been having a mental debate in whether this was actually turning into a date. Or rather two friends enjoying each others company.

Little did she know that a certain hologram had been doing the exact same thing and as they went Rimmed had become increasingly nervous and awkward and by the time they had reached the cinema the colour of his face could rival that of a tomato.

Zora didn't notice of course she was too busy distracting herself with the putting on the film to look up at the hologram as he set down all the food by the screen before a little idea popped into his head and he scurried out of the room quickly before he could have seconds thoughts.

When Zora finally emerged from the small room in which all the films were stored she had all the films queued up and ready to go. Zora was satisfied that she had got her emotions in order - for the time being at least - but that feeling lasted a grand total of five seconds when she caught sight of what Rimmer had set up at the front of the cinema.

Somehow he had acquired a blanket and an insane amount of pillows that had been neatly arranged as well as sweets put in small bowls and the drinks set out to the side accompanied with glasses.

"I hope that I have not misjudged the situation," Rimmer finally spoke up through the lengthening silence. "If I have I'm sorry it's just I've never been good with the opposite sex not have they really paid me any mind and then...you came along. You've been genuinely kind to me and it has not been out of necessity....not to mention you are positively stunning beyond smart and are able to irritate Lister amazingly!" Rimmer added.

Zora laughed at his last statement which broke through some of the tension that had begun to fill the room. Her cheeks were burning and her heart was pounding in her chest but she was overjoyed that Rimmer shared the feelings she did. A wide smile spread across her face as she bounded over the bed of cushions.

Rimmer let out a noise of surprise as Zora tackled him into a hug that would have made it hard to breathe if that had still been necessary for him. They both broke out into laughter as the first terminator film began to play in the background.

"As much as I do love hugs from you Zora it's not quite the reply I was looking for..." Rimmer spoke quietly.

Zora sat up kneeling beside Rimmer who propped himself up on his elbow and looked up at the slightly giddy yet still nervous looking woman.

"Arnold Judas Rimmer. It goes without saying I have never met someone like you before in my life. I never thought a person could be so arrogant or self-centred-" A very nervous and sad look passed over Rimmer's features. "And yet," Zora continued giving the hologram a reassuring smile "you are also one of the kindest people I have had the pleasure of knowing. You understand me and somehow put up with all my weirdness and complaining and I really care about you," She concluded with a small smile that soon faded as she noticed Rimmer's gaze was no longer focussed on her face but her lips.
