The Ceremony

Y/N POV:
It was 2:50, and right now I was quickly putting my boots on and heading my way to the throne room. I was right now having a miniature panic attack, events always made me nervous, but I was excited to see everyone. Once I made it, I saw all the champions except for Link. 'He must be still getting ready.' I thought. I stood where I was supposed to be and started to study the champions garments.

I first noticed Mipha, she wore a blue garment around herself with Divine Beast Vah Ruta on the corner of it. She saw me and she smiled softly. I smiled back. Then I saw Urbosa, who wore the blue garment as a skirt. It had Divine Beast Vah Naboris on it. She also saw me and winked at me. I smiled. I then saw who I'm assuming is Daruk who had the blue garment around himself kind of like Mipha, and it had Divine Beast Vah Rudania. He saw me and smiled widely. He seems nice. Then, I took a glance at Revali. He had the blue garment around his neck like a scarf. It had Divine Beast Vah Medoh on it. I honestly really liked his scarf. He then noticed me watching him and I quickly looked away.

Link then came in along with Impa. They both stood next to me. "Your here early, now that's a surprise." Whispered Impa. "Yea..wanted to be early for this one." I whispered back. "Well that's something you don't normally here often." She said. She was right, I am usually late to everything. But I don't really want to be late for this event. "Well, good luck, stand up tall. Your gonna be great. You got this!" She said giving me a thumbs up. "Thanks, General." I said with a smile. She then walked off with Zelda to stand by the Kings side.

The King of Hyrule then came in. Impa and Zelda were right by his side. "Welcome, warriors!" He spoke loudly. "Id like to thank you for joining me here today, and for your bravery in accepting this...fateful task. I officially appoint you Hyrule's champions and bestow you upon this sacred garb. That blue is a symbol of the Royal Family, one that has been passed down for countless generations. Those garments you now wear were all crafted by my daughter, Zelda. Zelda. I trust you with the task only a daughter of the royal family can fulfill." I took a sad glance at Zelda and looked back. "Lead our champions, Princess. And together, protect our kingdom from the threat of Calamity Ganon." Everyone cheered for our arrival as fireworks were exploding outside. We then started a celebration for our arrival.

~After the celebration~

After the celebration, we champions made our way too the courtyard of the castle. I decided to finally have a chance to meet Daruk. "Hey Daruk was it? It's nice to meet you." I said kinda nervously. "Hey! Nice to meet you...uhh..?" "Oh! Y/N!" "Y/N! Yea nice to meet you!" We continued to talk, I took another glance Revali who was actually watching me, he quickly looked away and scoffed. I rolled my eyes and continued talking until Zelda came in along with Impa and the strange small (egg) guardian. It was so cute! I then heard commotion coming from them Daruk was also watching with me.

"Would you stop making a nuisance of yourself?" Exclaimed Impa. They were at it again. "Unlike you, the Princess is extremely busy. Hey!" The eggo smacked Impa's hand away and made more beeping noises. "You cut it out." Smack. "Now listen you-Smack. "Stop that!" Smack. "We're trying to help the princess here." I giggled slightly. "Come on you two, there's no need to fight." Said Zelda. But then it smacked her hand again. "Urgh! How dare you act so disrespectfully in front of her highness, you trouble some teapot!" Me and Urbosa laughed in the corner. I took a glance and saw Mipha and Daruk whispering something. Sounded like they were talking about training together or something. "Thank you. I hope to become stronger so that I can fight alongside.." She looked at Link and I smirked at her. Link then looked at Mipha. She blushed madly and got flustered. "Oh! No I-I was just um..ah.." I giggled. "Gah! Enough!" I looked over to see Revali and the eggo hiding behind him. "Leave me out of this! If you must fight, do it elsewhere!" "Come back here you whiny little..!" Impa said as her and the eggo were going around in circles of Revali. "Gah! Stop it!" I started laughing at the scene. Then Revali flew up. "How asinine." He said but I'm guessing he was mostly talking about me since he made eye contact with me saying that. "That's what you get bird brain!" I said out loud. Urbosa started laughing even harder.

Once we got Revali back and when Impa and the eggo finally calmed down, Zelda showed us the Sheikah Slate. "So this is a Sheikah Slate, eh?" Said Revali as he picked it up, observing the Slate. "It is. Apparently there are more uses for it than we originally thought. Sadly, we've yet to decipher all of its secrets." Explained Zelda. Revali stopped observing and dropped it in Mipha's hands. Urbosa leaned in to get a closer look at it. "The princess showed me something strange recently. Somehow it can create true-to-life images." "Oh wow." Mipha awed. "I would love to see it." Mipha's eyes lit up and I already knew where this was going. "Um Princess? May I ask a special favor of you?" Asked Mipha as she looked at Link.

"All right! This spot should work nicely." The Royal scientist, Purah said. "Okay, Princess please stand in the center, Link and Urbosa stand next to the Princess. Uh, Mipha stand next to Link, and Y/N stand next to Urbosa. And Revali stand next to Y/N and Daruk in the back." PURAHHH WHYYY! Revali stood probably as far away as possible from me. I glared at him and he glared back. Urbosa looked at us fighting with our eyes and chuckled. "Keep your eyes on the Sheikah Slate everyone!" She tried adjusting the Sheikah Slate to see everyone. "Uhh Daruk can you crouch down a bit? You're as big as death mountain." Daruk crouched down so he was in the photo. "What's with the glum face Princess? Give me a huge smile!" Urbosa put a hand on Zelda's shoulder, comforting her. Poor Zelda. "Revali move your tail closer to the group." "Ugh, fine." He said as he moved closer to me. I blushed slightly...because of anger! Do you really hate me that much?! Jeez. "Mipha you look so tense. Deep breaths, okay?" "R-right!" Said Mipha while taking deep breaths. I smiled sympathetically at her. "Stay just like that! Here we go! Smile.. CLICK SNAP!" Right when she said that, Daruk pulled all of us together in a hug which shook all of us. The impact of the push made me stumble on Revali's chest. AGAIN. I felt my face turned red out of embarrassment.

~time skip~

We each had are own separate pictures from Purah. When I got mine, I started to giggle slightly while also turning red. We all look ridiculous but I loved it for that. When I got to my room, I put it in a picture frame and put it on my nightstand. I looked at it and smiled. I plopped onto my bed and started to think again. 'This journey will be interesting, I wonder what will come of it. Everyone seems so nice, except for Revali. I wonder if we'll ever get along. Probably not. (Are you sure about that( ͠° ͟ʖ ͡°)) I just hope Zelda doesn't put us as a team or something. Pfft, like that will happen. Knowing Zelda she probably won't do anything like that.' After thinking, I closed my eyes and went to sleep.
