Each Step Like Thunder

Y/N Pov:
I got woken up by a tap on my shoulder. I groaned and opened my eyes to see Revali was the one who tapped my shoulder. "Finally your awake, I've been tapping your shoulder for more than 5 minutes now." I rolled my eyes. "Hey, anything's better than water as an alarm." "Who says I won't do it again?" "You better not or I swear- "You both act so much like a married couple, it's concerning." We both blushed out of embarrassment. "We are not a married couple!" Said Revali in unison.

"Anyways, I managed to find us some food Y/N, Master Revali already ate and Tulin's eating right now as you see." "Wait, how long have I been asleep?" "An hour at least." "Oh shoot! Got to get back to the Princess and the others." "Aw..does Master Y/N have to go?" "Now Tulin, Y/N has important needs she has to do." "Will I ever see you again?" I chuckled. "Of course silly! After this whole thing is over, I can teach you some things if your up for it?" "Yeah! I want to learn everything from you and Master Revali!" Revali coughed in awkwardness. "I guess teaching you some things before you have to leave wouldn't hurt." He said. I chuckled at this. "Well cya guys later, we'll meet back at Great Plateu." Revali nodded.

I grabbed my sword and shield. I said goodbye to Teba and have Tulin a pat on the head but he didn't take that as a good goodbye and hugged me instead. I screeched inside and hugged him tightly back. I then hugged Revali which gave me a grunt in response. I know he hates it when I give him affection in front of others. Teba chuckled at this while Revali hid his face in embarrassment. Tsundere much? I then made my way out of the forest to join the battle with Zelda and the others.

When I got to Fort Hateno, it was crawling with monsters and Guardians. I searched for the party and saw Link fighting a few guardians. He was fighting the walking big guardian and since he was distracted, the sky guardian saw an opening and began to charge a beam at him. Fortunately, I saw this opening and jumped between them and defeated the guardian.

Link turned to see me while smirking and nodded. I smirked back and winked. There was then an opening to get to Fort Hanteno. "Y/N! Glad you're alright, let us go." We both nodded and Zelda, Impa, Link, the small guardian, and I went to the Fort.

However we were stopped by a familiar chuckle. We both turned around to see the seer, Astor, who was the one who attacked us in Korok Forest. "Your thread will be cut here, your highness." He said as he held up the dark orb in his hand. He then summoned ALL the blight Ganons we have already defeated! "Impossible!" Yelled out Zelda. He then use his powers to resurrect the Ganons and immediately, what I'm assuming is the Thunder blight Ganon came rushing out to the Princess. Dang it was fast! Link and I immediately ran up to attack.

Link shielded the attacks of Thunderblight and Fireblight while I blocked the attacks of Waterblight and Windblight. I nodded to Impa and Zelda to make a run for it. Impa got the message and grabbed Zelda's hand. "Come on!" She rushed Zelda. "Wait! We can't leave them!" Zelda said.

We continued to fight them, but Link and I knew we couldn't do this on our own. We were surrounded. My heart racing of anxiety and fear as I didn't know what to do. Just then, as I was getting ready for the worse, a blinding flash of light blinded the blights and all of us. "That light..!" I heard Astor say. The light was so powerful it rose to the enemies far away from us. Could this mean..? Link and I turned around to see Zelda with her Sacred Power of light.

"Princess...was that?" I asked. "I..I" Zelda didn't know what say. Astor than fleed the scene, knowing that it would be a death wish to confront Zelda with her power. As Zelda used her power to fight, we found Purah and met her a Fort Hateno. Purah also explained how we can hold off many guardians if we activated all the terminals in the keeps. We claimed back the keeps as Purah instructed and activated the terminals. But nothing was happening. "Something must be jamming the devices power supply, I'll head to the lab and check it out." "Going out in this battlefield is a death sentence! We'll aid you there, Y/N! Take care of the Stronghold!" "Got it!" I then made my way to the stronghold to be greeted by a ton of guardians and other monsters. I defeated them and managed to save the Stronghold just in time for Purah to fix the devices.

The devices than created a strong force which stunned the guardians. How can something so little be so deadly? "A smashing success! And luckily, our little buddy is still up and running! However..if you get to close to them they'll attack, so don't." Suddenly, a malice guardian appeared. "Hey! That's the one we saw in the Citadel!" I said. How did the devices not affect it? Well whatever, we still got to defeat it. I started attacks on it and it helped when Link, Zelda, and Impa got here to get the job done faster. We then managed to defeat the malice guardian. "It's over, isn't it?" Really Impa? We still got a whole Calamity to defeat. "No. Until we can seal Calamity Ganon, there will be no rest for us." Said Zelda.

After the battle was over, Link and I stood next to Zelda as we watched the guards repairing the Fort and helping people who got injured. Zelda took a deep breath as she was ready to speak. "Everyone, hear me now." Zelda yelled out to the guards. Which got the attention of everyone on Zelda. "With Calamity Ganon now awakened, here we stand at the threshold of the unimaginable. Despite that...we must not give in to defeat. We must not despair. We must stand and fight! Hyrule wields the Divine Beasts and their Champions, we are armed with the knight whose sword seals the darkness and the knight who wields ancient weaponry from ancient times. And, we will strike with you! You brave soldiers! Everyone, you are mine to lead now. Calamity Ganon...will be sealed away with the power I possess! Together, standing in strength, we begin our march. Hyrule's fight, to rescue all within it, is now!" Dang that gave me goosebumps, tell 'em Princess! Everyone then raised their sword and cheered.

We then got word on a guard who came up to us asking if we could speak in private. Zelda nodded and asked if I could join. Which I did also not by choice but also to protect her. We went behind the Fort and the guard put his hand out to lead the way. We walked up to the wall. "Well then, what did you want to tell me?" The guard then turned his head around and suddenly jumped on top of the wall! We both gasped in surprise as the guard revealed himself to be Kohga?! I immediately grabbed my weapon. "Kohga?! What are you?!" I saw him then clenched his fist as he came crashing down and dropped on his knees to say he surrendered. "Wha?- I was confused now. But, now that I realized it, Sooga wasn't here.

Kohga than explained to us how Astor had betrayed them and most likely killed Sooga and killed most of his people. I almost felt sorry for him, not much though. I raised my weapon at him though. "Yeah right! You're probably going to betray us and plotting to do something." "Geez traitor! Listen! I swear I'm not going to betray you! I just want to get my sweet revenge on the three eyes!" "Y/N please! I'm not sure we can trust him either, we need all the help we can get however. But we'll make sure he doesn't, which means I'm going to partner you both up." "What-" I looked at him and he was laying on the floor in a pose and he waved at me.
