Y/N POV:
"Y/NNNNNNNNNNNN!" "Whatttt?" "We need to go." I opened my eyes to see Link already dressed and packed up. "I'm going to the market to buy some food, why I'm doing that, you can get dressed and get ready for the next champion." He said. I groaned and put my pillow over my head. Link chuckled as he left to get food. I got up as soon as he left and got dressed and did my usual morning routine. I packed all my things and when I was done, I sat on my bed and waited patiently for Link to come back. While I was waiting, Urbosa came in. "How was your sleep Y/N?" "Oh, hey Urbosa. I was enjoying my sleep until Link woke me up." Urbosa chuckled. "You two sure are close." "Yea, we've been friends ever since we were kids." "Oh, so you two have been close for a while." She said as she smirked. I noticed it and started turning red out of embarrassment. "It's not like that!" I said as she laughed.

Urbosa and I kept talking until Link came back. We both said our goodbyes to Urbosa and walked back safely to the Gerudo Canyon Stable. Link and I went inside and planned where to go. "Okay so, where do Rito's leave?" I asked. "Rito's live in Rito village, there village was made in the middle of Lake Totori. We can access it from a bridge from the east in western Hyrule. It's also going to be really cold there so we should also bring some exliers with us." Link explained. "Dang, I haven't heard you talk so much in a long time." "Oh shut up." He chuckled as he lightly punched me in the arm.

It took us a least two days to get there. Just like Link said, it was starting to get chillier the more we got closer. We stopped by a stable that was right next to Rito Village. I got into my snow gear first and waited for Link to finish. As he was changing, I decided to look at the village in the distance. "Wow.." I told myself. It was beautiful! Especially with the snowy mountains in the background! I grabbed my Skeikah Slate and took a picture.

I wonder what the Rito Champion is like if they live in such a nice looking place

I wonder what the Rito Champion is like if they live in such a nice looking place. "Liking the view huh?" I jumped. "Linkkk, you scared me." He started laughing as I pouted.
We both left the stable and made our way into the village. The inside was small and peaceful. The Rito's were beautiful bird people. Link then got a text on his Skeikah Slate. "It's from Zelda, she said the Rito we're looking for is named 'Revali'." "Okay then!" I said excitingly. We both decided to go to the elder so we can find this Revali dude. "His name kinda sounds like Ravioli." I commented. Link snickered. When we got the Elder's home, he told us Revali usually trains on an edge of the village. My heart started pounding. 'This is it.' I thought. 'Last champion'.

When we got to the edge nobody was there. "Maybe he's still training, we should probably wait." We waited for a little bit until we felt a gush of wind. Then a Rito flew up to us dramatically. He flew his wings down and landed in front of us. "Can I help you?" He said in a bored voice. "Is your name Revali by any chance?" I asked him politely. "The one and only Revali." He said dramatically. "And you are?" I looked at him up and down at his features. He looked honestly, amazing. Especially his eyes. Those emerald green eyes shone brightly and I couldn't help but stare. "Are you just going to stare at me? Because if you are, you are wasting my time." He said in a annoyed tone and was about to fly off.
"Y-Y/N!" I said as I cleared my throat. Link gave me a concerned look. "This here, is my partner Link, um we are soldiers if Hyrule Castle and we are in the need of Champions to save us from the calamity." Link and Revali looked at me strangely. 'Oh my Goddesses. Why am I acting like this?!' "Doesn't perk up my interest." "W-wha-" He tried to fly away but I blocked him. "Move, your in my way!" "Not until you explain!" "As talented and amazing I am, I do not have any interest in being a stupid champion. Now get out of my way. Your wasting my time." He flew over me and I felt my blood boiling. "I'M NOT GIVING UP THAT EASILY JUST HOPE YOU KNOW THAT!!" I yelled. I know for a fact he heard me and that he is probably rolling his eyes at me.
"Come on Link!" I turned around to see a dumbfounded Hero and I grabbed the hero's head and headed to the Rito Villages inn to get a room. "What just happened?" He asked as we got there and sat on our beds. "That blue cucco I swear!" "It's weird for you to get so mad over something like this." Said Link while smirking. "He's just so full of himself! Even though I zoned out a bit it was rude of him to answer like that! Oh and also saying no, because he is so great and talented, to talented to apparently be an CHAMPION!" Link looked slightly terrified (just slightly). "Well, I think I'm going to get some food, you should probably rest to calm down or something. We can talk to him later." Link said as he left to get some food from the market.
I plopped down on my bed and hugged the pillow. Well the more I thought about what happened made me strangle my pillow. But maybe Link was right, maybe we should just talk to him later about it, maybe he was extremely tired, I mean he just came out from training so who wouldn't be tired! I was about to close my eyes until a heard a familiar voice. I got up from my bed and peeked at the door to see Revali talking to Link?! I decided to eavesdrop on what they were talking about. Or should I say what Revali was talking about. Link doesn't talk to anyone really, except for me.
I listened carefully and heard Revali saying insults to Link. It just made my blood boil! This asinine blue flying cucco, thinks he can mock my best friend and call him those awful things even though he can't speak. Not on my watch pal.
I got out from my hiding spot and walked over there. "Oh, well now I have to deal with this annoying girl as well." He said. "Listen Revali, you may be a talented Rito and the 'best archer in the world' but that doesn't mean you can mock my friend and make insults about him just because of his looks or the fact that he doesn't speak. Oh and FYI, I'm not just an annoying girl but I am also a Hero and I ACTUALLY go out and kick some butt out there. So, just to let you know that you are not the ONLY talented person or Rito in Hyrule." Link and Revali looked at me shocked. I walked away while they both were staring at me stupidly.
I laid down on my bed in the inn. I was hoping to relax but I got a call from my Sheikah Slate. "What nowwww." I groaned. I grabbed it and saw it was Zelda. 'Great.' I thought. I answered the call.
"Good afternoon Y- oh my! You look awful!" "Gee, well thanks for the compliment." I said in a sarcastic tone. She rolled her eyes jokingly. "Not like that, you just look emotionally drained. Did something happened?" "No, nothing really. Just tired is all." "Oh, alright then. How did everything go with Revali?" Shoot. "Uh well, um he said he would join.." "Really?! That's wonderful! We need all the help we can. That's all the champions then! I will see you in a couple of days. Take care Y/N." She said as she hung up. I screamed into my pillow.
What am I going to do?! I only have a couple of days to get him to join us. Why did I have to lie to her. I mentally face palmed myself.
I have to talk to him later today. If Link isn't going to do it, then I will again! I wonder how that will go.
