Y/N POV:
Today was just a normal day. Morning routine, got ready for training, meeting Revali at the training grounds. We trained for a while and then we decided to take a break. I sat down and leaned my back on a tree while Revali was putting a show for me, trying to practice his wind technique thing.I watched gazed in amazement while he was doing it. He must of worked hard for that. I kinda wish I could fly, it seems kinda cool. Once he got down and practiced with using the bow on the ground, I random question popped into my head.
"Hey Revali, quick question." He hummed in response. "I was wondering if you ever take a break? Every time we train and I take a break, you practice your wind technique thing." "There's no time to take breaks, I practice everyday without one. It's the only way to get stronger on the technique." "You know, it's okay to take a break sometimes. I even need one sometimes. Breaks can build up your strength so it's okay if you need one." "I can't, I need to keep going until I succeed." He said as he took off again.
I sighed. What could I do so he can take a break? I then got an idea. "Revali!" I yelled out his name. He didn't respond either ignoring me or he didn't hear me. "RAVIOLI" I yelled. "WHAT?!" He yelled down. Hey! He actually responded with that nickname! "COME DOWN HERE FOR A SEC!" He flew down. "What?!" He asked irritability. "So I was thinking, I was wondering if we could come up with a name for your technique? We can't just call it wind technique." He looked at me suspiciously. "I know what you're doing and it's not going to work. You're trying to give me a break. That's not going to work. Stop wasting my time." Before he flew off, I grabbed his wing/hand.
"Please Revali, could you just stay me..?" I gave him a puppy dog look, or how Link calls it, "the eyes". Revali had a slight dust of blush on his face. "W-what are you doing?!" He asked. I didn't say anything and just looked at him. "Stop looking at me like that, it's incredibly disturbing.." I still didn't speak. He kept looking at me. "UGH, fine!" Wow that actually worked.
"Yay!" I pumped my fists in the air and sat back down at the tree. I scooched to the right slightly to make space for Revali and patted the grass, motioning him to sit down. He rolled his eyes and sat down next to me. "So, about the nickname thing." I continued. "You were actually serious about that?" He asked. I nodded. "Well, I haven't figured out a name yet." "Why don't we figure one out?" "I guess that's fine." "Hmm, how about "wind torpedo?" I asked. "That sounds stupid." "Okay, Mr. Grumpy Pants how about you come up with one?" He rolled his eyes. "Hm, "Striking Tornado"?" "That sounds dumber than mine." He groaned.
We tried figuring out some nicknames but none of them sounded right. But then I came up with a good one. "I got one! How about "Revali's Gale?" He gave a confused look. "It's simple and punchy. It's also your own technique, no one else's." "It doesn't sound that bad honestly." I smiled. "Then it's settled, it shall be known as Revali's Gale!"
