"L-Lady Urbosa our apologies but, these two young vai's were about to barge in the throne room an-" "Bring them in, don't worry I'll talk to them." "Yes Lady Urbosa, our apologies you may come in." Link and I went in the throne room with the Gerudo. "Apologies for that, I am Urbosa, leader of the Gerudo. I'm guessing your the ones that Princess Zelda sent." "Y-Yea.." I muttered. She started laughing all of a sudden and smiled softly at us. "Well your both the talkative butterflies." She teased. I laughed nervously. "W-Well we both feel a little awkward here." "Ha let's go outside the town and talk about this then."
The three of us went outside of town just walking around the desert. I grabbed a cool exlier to keep myself cool. I offered Link and Urbosa one but both of them declined. Later on, we all laughed at Urbosa's jokes. It was about time I should ask about Urbosa helping us defeat the Calamity. I know, I didn't ask yet, how irresponsible of me. I opened my mouth to say something but got interrupted. "Hey Hero #1, you should probably get changed back to your original attire. It's going cold out." She smirked. I'm pretty sure I saw a faint blush on Links cheeks and I started laughing a little. He nodded and grabbed his clothes and walked away to change. So it was just me and Urbosa, I think this was my chance. I opened my mouth to say something. "I heard about you Y/N, Faren told me a lot about you." My E/C orbs widened. "Y-You, know my mother?" "It was 10 long years ago. Your mother was a beautiful and kind woman who always cared for everyone's sake. Her and I were very close. I was there for her wedding and when you were born." I was speechless. "W-Why, did she leave me then?" I felt a rock in my throat and I was ready to be on the verge of tears. "A war started at Hyrule, your father and sister were able to escape the flames, your mother was trying to escape the flames to get you somewhere safe. She made it to Kakariko, in hope she could give you to someone who would take care of you. She gave you to an elderly woman and begged her to take care of you and raise you. But she was as well terribly wounded and the Sheikah tribe tried to heal her wounds but she unfortunately didn't make it. Your mother was a good and strong woman though and you remind me a lot of her." I couldn't believe what I was hearing. She knew my mother. I felt tears dripping down my face. She turned to face me and I felt her arms holding me in an embrace. "It's alright to cry, even hero's need to let it out." I hugged her back and smiled softly. "T-Thank you." Link came out looking confused. Urbosa started a laugh a bit and I felt my face flush red out of embarrassment and Urbosa started laughing louder. "Come on you both should sleep in, I will have permission with the guards to let Link stay overnight." "Thanks" I said.
We went back to town and Urbosa already rented our beds. Link was asleep and I was playing games on my Sheikah Slate. I game got paused when I got a video call from Zelda. I swiped to answer the call. "Good evening Princess." "Good evening Y/N. I was wondering how things are going for you and Link." "Things are going good we already got the Zora Champion and the Gerudo Champion to join our forces." "Yes, Mipha the Zora Champion is here. As well is the Goron Chanpion." "Wait, Goron Chanpion?" "Yes, I got Daruk the Goron Chanpion to join forces with us. All who is left is the Rito Champion." "Oh, well ok. Thank you for letting me know. I'll tell Link first thing tomorrow." I said. "Alright Y/N goodnight." "Goodnight" I hanged up and put my slate next to Links and plopped on my bed. 'The last Champion is the Rito champion. Wonder how he is.' I snuggled into the covers. 'Will see how it is.'
