Training (Day 2)

So, I'm thinking on making the training days short and pretty much like one-shots. Some of them might be long, and some of them might be short.

Y/N POV:
It was morning and right now I was eating an omelet early so I could make it to training in time. Once I finished, I made my way to the training grounds. I was still a bit nervous, but excited at the same time. When I made it to the training grounds, I started to look for Revali. I looked at the same spot we were yesterday, and I found him. But it looked like he was was training. It looked like he was practicing that updraft thing. For no apparent reason, I decided to watch him.

He got into position and started to create an updraft. He then flew into the air and I watched in amazement. I watched him as he tried to balance himself in the updraft, but he started to lose balance, and he fell to the ground. I gasped. 'Is he okay? That looked like it hurt.' He got up from the ground but he looked exhausted. "N-not enough, must push myself further." Poor bird. I walked out of my hiding place hoping I wouldn't make a sound. But nope, I stepped on a tree branch, of course, and he snapped his head in my direction.

"You know 'hero', it's rude to eavesdrop." He said while he stood up. "Sorry, but Revali, you shouldn't be to hard on yourself. You should work hard but not to the point where you hurt yourself." I put my hand on his shoulder for comfort. He didn't respond but placed his wing/hand on mine. I blushed at the contact. "R-Revali..?" He slowly took my hand away from his shoulder. "You know I can't do that." He said softly.

I looked down at the ground. "Could you just please promise me you won't hurt yourself?" I asked still looking down. I heard him sigh. "Fine. I promise." I smiled. "Also, were you okay, physically?" "Yes I'm fine, just a scratch." "Are you sure it was just a scratch though? You fell down pretty hard." "If I wasn't okay then I wouldn't be walking and standing just fine." "True."

We walked to the training grounds and started to train. I was doing okay, and I almost killed Revali again by almost hitting him in the head with my arrow. After training, we took a break and I decided to go back to the castle and bring something to eat. While I was cooking, I saw Link come my way.

"Hey Link!" I waved. "Hey Y/N, how's training going?" "Pretty good." "Really? I thought you would despise it because Revali is training you." "It's not really that bad.." "Wow, never thought you'd say that." I shrugged as I grabbed the pastries I made and put them in a basket. "We just warmed up to each other I guess." "That quickly?" "Well yea..we were probably destined to be friends. I don't know." "Guess I can agree with that, I mean, that is what happened to us." I nodded. After all my pastries were done, I waved goodbye to Link and made my back to the training grounds, basket in hand.

When I got there, I saw Revali shooting at some targets. "Finally, I thought you were never coming back." I rolled my eyes. "I was baking. I made some pastries." "You bake? Let's just hope you didn't burn anything." I rolled my eyes again. "No I didn't bird brain." We both sat down, leaning on the tree and I gave him a pastry and helped myself with one.

I bite into mine and it actually tasted good. Revali looked at me weirdly and shrugged as he bit into his. "So, what do you think?" "Not bad." As he bit into it again. Glad he likes it. "How do Rito's eat? Do you guys eat like birds?" "No we eat like Hylians. Honestly, your not blind. You were just watching me eat." "Geez, just asking." I took one last bite and got up from the ground. Revali also finished and got up. I then noticed some powdered sugar on his beak/lips(?) and giggled.

"What's so funny?" He asked. "You must of really enjoyed that pastry, you have powdered sugar on your beak/lips." I saw a tint of pink on his cheeks as he wiped his beak/lips with his hand/wing. But it was still there. Soon, giggling turned into laughter. "It's still there!" I giggled. He started to get irritated. "Let me help." I said as I got wiped the sugar off with my thumb. "I-I didn't need your help!" He said completely red out of embarrassment. (Tsundere bird) "Well you did, it's not really something to be embarrassed about. At least I know you enjoyed it." I giggled. He grunted and turned his back one me. "You are ridiculous." "And you are a bird brain." "Would you stop calling me that?" "Then what else can I call you." "Anything but that."

"Blue cucco?"

"No."

"Feather Brain?"

"No."

"Asinine Champion?"

"NO."

"Ravioli?"

"Fine."

"Wait really?"

"No."
