Warming Up a Little/Second Meet

Y/N POV:
I woke up to the sun beaming at my face telling me it was morning. I lazily got out of bed and got dressed/daily routine. I went to Links bed and realized he wasn't even there. I just hope he's not "talking" to Revali again.
I went out to go look for him. My heart was racing. I had anxiety also when I was about to bed. How am I going to get Revali agree to help us?
I took a glance at some Rito children who were making flower crowns. I smiled softly. This place is so innocent yet they have a champion who's stubborn as a mule. I kept on with my search for Link until I made it to the flight range and within that flight range was Revali. My heart started racing faster and I tried to quickly get by the flight range hoping he doesn't see me. But then my clumsy self stepped on a twig that was conveniently in my way. He then whipped he head around in my direction. 'Shoot, I'm dead.' I thought. We both made eye contact and my heart started racing faster. A few seconds later which felt like minutes, he scoffed and turned his head around.
"Convenient to see you here 'hero'. What are you doing? Giving me another lecture I assume?" "Yes, and I'm not going to stop until you give in." "Well, you might as well give up then, because no matter what you do, nothing is going to make me become a so called champion." I was getting irritated and I started walking up to him. As I was walking down the steps, I somehow tripped over a step and fell on top of something. It was really fluffy..and warm.. and..it was REVALI. I looked up and realized I landed on his chest. I could feel my face flush out of embarrassment. I looked up at Revali and he was shocked and I swear I could of seen a dust of pink on his cheeks, probably out of embarrassment. "C-could you get off me please?" He asked with an harsh tone. "Y-yea, sorry..I've been clumsy all day today." He hummed in response. We both went quite and there was an awkward aroma in the air. Out of the corner in Rito Village, we both saw Link buying food at a market. I looked back at him, refusing to have eye contact. "Umm..let's keep talking about the request..?"
"Actually, I'm having second thoughts.." I finally looked up at him and saw that he was still watching Link buying what looked like Tabantha wheat, cane sugar, and goat butter. "So..you will help us??" I asked in unison. He sighed. "Yes, however, about that pathetic knight in the princesses service.."I knew it. His main concern was on Link, maybe that's why he didn't want to join us. "Are you really sure he's got what it takes?" He asked. "Hm? I mean I think he does got what it takes but I also think you do too." He looked back at me and his eyes soften which is something you don't see often. "Fine, we both know that you will be needing my unique skills..to pilot the Divine Beast. Hm?" I took a sigh out of relief and irritation at the same time. "Yes we will and don't get too cocky." He scoffed. "Well we might as well get going now, and tell that knight that I will be joining as well, he'll probably just lose confidence seeing me in action." "Pfft, yea like that will happen, but I'll make sure I'll tell him about your cockiness. He rolled his eyes as started to fly in the air. "You are completely asinine 'hero'. Just like that, he flew away making me get frustrated with him again.
I told Link to get ready because I got that bird brain to join us. "Wow, I wondered what you did to make him finally join us." I felt my face flush red again. I'm still embarrassed about what happened. I hope I'm not clumsy for the rest of the day. "Yea..I wonder.." I said as I grabbed my backpack to pack.
After packing, we went to go find Revali so we can make our leave, but we couldn't find him anywhere throughout the whole village. We decided to ask a guard to see if we can find his whereabouts. The guard said he saw Revali make his leave already and flew to Hyrule Castle. I can't believe that jerk just left like that! Not even bothering to wait for us.

"I can't believe he just left like that!" I said to Link while we were picking up our horses at the stable. I pretty much continued to lecture about him halfway through are journey back to Hyrule Castle. "You can't seem to stop talking about him." He smirked. "It's not like that! We just met ya dingus." "I was just kidding." He chuckled. I pouted and puffed my cheeks out. What? I do that when I'm sulking okay? Anyways, we eventually made it to Hyrule Castle where we were greeted by knights, the princess, and the Royal Adviser, Impa. "I am glad you two made it back safely." Said Zelda. "There will be a ceremony for the Champions arrival, please meet at the Kings throne within 3:00." She smiled back at us and walked away.
Link also walked away which led me with my general, Impa. Knowing Impa, she likes to talk about everything. "So, how did it go?" She asked. I told her the whole story. (Lazy to tell the whole story). I also told her about Revali. "Yea..we just met with Revali. He seems to be really stubborn. Let's just hope he won't be too much of a pain." "General Impa, you don't understand, he's only really ignorant with me! I don't understand, what did I do?" "Well, maybe because you are the second hero?" "Maybe..but I'm not bragging about it!" "Maybe you'll know later on, but for now, let's just get ready for the ceremony." I nodded and made my way to my room to get ready. Only to see a blue garment and a note. I picked it up and read it:

I put the note down on my desk lamp and put on the blue garment on. When it was on, I noticed a small Sheikah mark on the corner of the garment. I think it looks pretty cool if I do say so myself. I looked at the time on my Sheikah slate. It was 2:30, so I still had some time. I decided to chill on my bed and think. I was excited to see the champions, they all seem pretty nice, except for Revali...and I will also meet the Goron Champion, Daruk, I think that's his name. I just hope Revali won't be a pain in the arce the whole entire time. Especially to me...we probably won't ever get along, but..I guess that's okay, right?

Author Note:
So, I just got started with playing Age of Calamity, and I fell in love with it and got a little more info on the characters. This is a warning right now, in this fanfic, it will contain some events and characters from Age of Calamity. So this is a spoiler alert. I will keep updating this fanfic because I really do have fun writing this and I may not update in a while sometimes because of school and some other events.
