N/A: might want to have 'Smile' by Caroline Manning and 'It will Rain(slowed version)' by Bruno Mars downloaded in your playlist or whatever:) Trust me, it might come in handy ;)
We finally arrived at the school. Everyone looked so majestic. I haven't seen my class try this hard with their outfits. That was a compliment-
"Here we go. Goodbye school!" Grace yelled, cheering. We all let out a laugh. I looked at Caleb as he felt a different vibe too. He didn't seem too happy. Could he have figured out? Maybe the guys told him?
"Let's make it as if it were our last!" I yelled, pointing towards the door. Grace, Natalie, and Cheryl cheered , as we all ran towards the door except for the guys. I don't know what was up with them but I wasn't going to let them make my day bad because since it will be my last time here until four years later, I might as well make it the best. I don't want to leave here with any regrets!
Us girls headed inside and we all looked at everyone getting their separate pictures in different classrooms. I don't know why they didn't just do it in one classroom but I guess they did this so it was faster.
We were handed cards with a number of a classroom and looked around.
"We will meet up in the bathroom, okay?" Grace planned, we all nodded then spit apart into the number of the classroom we were assigned to. I got assigned 12. How ironic, thinking that we are about to graduate grade 12.
I entered the classroom and first person I saw was Zane. There was all the equipment for the pictures but no photographer.
"Hey." He sent a sad smile, I sat down in the seat beside him.
"Hey." I smiled, I looked around. This is kind of awkward. Where's the photographer.
"You look beautiful," I focused my attention back to him.
"Like always." He grinned, I slowly nodded with an awkward smile.
"Thanks." I continued to look around.
"When are you leaving?"
"Tomorrow." He looked at me shocked.
"Oh. Well, have fun." He softly chuckled. I nodded.
"You too. You too." I muttered the last part and watched as the photographer came in.
"Sorry for being late guys! Okay, first we will have Mieleanna." I got up and posed in the way they told me too. After my picture was done, Zane went. Even though he did all those things, he's still my classmate. The least I could do is be nice to him since this is probably the last time we will be seeing each other.
When we were both finished, we exited the classroom and headed towards the cafeteria.
"I'm sorry for the things I've done to you, Miel. I was just really jealous and confused. Like, why would you choose a player like Caleb? He probably is cheating on you right now." He crossed his arms as we stopped in our tracks.
"That could be true but that is not likely. You barely even know Caleb. You see, don't judge so easily because he is literally the most kindest, loving, protective, soft person I've ever met. I would choose him any day over you." I stared at him straight in the eyes as his eyes widened.
"Not for long." He muttered under his breath. Although it was hard to hear, I still heard it and it kind of creeped me out.
"Well I should get going." I awkwardly smiled. I was about to leave, he grasped onto my wrist. He pulled me close and gave me a hug.
"Please Miel. Pick me." I shoved him away. Hard. I watched as he stumbled for a bit. I picked up the sides of my dress and began jogging towards the bathroom to where we were supposed to meet.
