"Hey honey, how's everything?" I gave out a big sigh at what happened yesterday.

"I got fired." I silently spoke, I could feel my mom's disappointment through her remaining smile. That smile quickly vanished. As she opened her mouth, getting ready to yell. I took my chances of survival.

"I-I'm going to be late, mom. I gotta go." I kissed my mom on the cheek and quickly closed the door. I couldn't handle getting in trouble. I hate making my mom mad. It, scares me. Just a vibe.

I walked up to Caleb and took a deep breath. "You got me fired!" I yelled, I was about to hit him but I found my wrist in his hand, stopping me. I kicked him in the shin.

"Actually, that was on you, dork." He said in between grunts of pain.

"Dork?" Fury built inside me even more. I was about to kick him until his friends held me back. What the actual fuck?

"Chill. Chill. Chillax." Issac and Jace pleaded.

"My name is Miel, dumbass. Not that you cared, but I have a name you know?" I snarled. To my surprise all he did was laugh. This made my blood boil even more. At this point, it was a rolling boil(cooking reference).

"What are you laughing at?" Issac and Jace let me go. I crossed my arms and furrowed my brows at Caleb.

"Dumbass? That's the best you got?" He chuckled. I'm not good at comebacks, okay?

"And all you have is dork?" I splat. I don't know if that was good but I tried. He bursted out into laughter. I stared at him, furious.

"Whatever, just leave me alone." I muttered. As I was about to leave, he pulled me close so that our bodies were touching.

"What if I don't want to?" His voice became husky and a smirk was plastered all over his face. I looked up as he looked down on me. Uh, no. Not today, bitch.

"You know, this is actually kind of nice. We should cuddle more often. Maybe sometime, in a bed." He evilly smiled. I could feel my cheeks begin to heat up. I had butterflies in my stomach and a feeling I never felt before. I hated this new feeling. I shoved him away.

"Well, then I'll just stuff more apples into your mouth until you stop." I smiled, feeling proud of myself. Ew, what was that? That was worse than bad. Why do I try at comebacks?

"Don't be such a dork." He pulled me back into the position we were recently in. I quickly pulled away and grabbed an apple from my bag.

"Dumbass!" I threw the apple at him and ran away.

I had volleyball practice today and I was just not feeling it. I mean, I love volleyball, I really do. Just that our coach punishes us when we aren't doing something right. She says that there can never be mistakes in a game. I disagree, even though she's kind of right. We have never lost a game nor a set. Some people even call us the golden team. Although, I don't think I'm going to be joining anymore. My interests just aren't the same anymore.

I looked at my phone only to get a text on the Volleyball group chat saying that practice was canceled today. I let out a sigh and walked into the girl's changing room. I kept my eyes on the ground. I placed my hands behind my back and started walking on tip toes. I was vibing until I looked up to see Cheryl and Caleb, half naked. Well isn't this fucking disgusting. I watched as Cheryl flashed me a trickster smile and kissed Caleb more passionate. I stood there awkwardly. Why am I still in here?

I quickly scurried out of the change room and decided to just change in the washroom. I walked out and pulled down my knee pads. I tried to walk as I was pulling my knee pads down but then I hit my head on something. I looked up and saw Zane. I remembered the moment that just happened not to long ago. This isn't going to end well. I mean, it might. If he's over Cheryl.
