Rhiannon's POV:

I stood in the middle of the courtyard in the pouring rain, with my training gear on. Will stood on one side of me while Jem stood on the other. I felt a pull to them both but for the moment I had to push that feeling deep down inside of me as we waited for Thomas to bring the carriage around.

I could feel the tension radiating off of them both, but chose to stay silent rather then speak and make this all the more awkward. Thomas finally brought the carriage around and the three of us hopped in. Myself on one side, Will and Jem on the other.

Once the door was shut, the carriage push forward towards our destination. Charlotte mentioned that the Silent Brothers found some information about Axel Mortmain when going through Nathaniel's thoughts and she wants us to check it out.

"If in the event that we find Mortmain there, I think it will be wise for you to change." Jem muttered after a few moments of silence.

"Do you want a sarcastic answer or a normal answer?" I asked, an amused look on my face.

"How about neither." Will added, looking between Jem and myself.

Tessa's POV:

After Will and Jem left with my sister, I sat in the chair near Nate's bed while he slept. He hasn't said a whole lot to me after Jessamine left to go get some better sleep then what she can in this chair. I was surprised when she even wanted to be around my brother. Though to be honest, I was unsure if my sister even told her.

"Tessa?" he questioned, shaking me out of my thoughts.

"What's wrong?" I asked, sitting up a little bit straighter in the chair.

"Do you think she will hate me forever?" he questioned.

"Who Rhiannon?" I furrowed my brow. I sat there for a minute thinking before I answered. "I think with time she might forgive you but that is a very big might."
