The Enclave is the collective name for a small part of more regional groups of Shadowhunters and helps keep and interpret the Law, and makes decisions about the guidance of the Nephilim through history as it unfolds and decides on important matters that affect the Nephilim, which also sometimes affect the Downworlders.
Of everything she has learned from the Shadowhunters Codex, one thing bothered her. She and her sister, whatever they might be, did not belong to the Nephilim, nor did they truly belonged to the Downworlders. They were something new, something unknown. Some might even say feared, because of the unknown.
"Earth to Rhiannon!" a voice called, startling her making her look up from the book she had only just began.
"Will!" she muttered, urging her heart rate to slow and nerves to simmer down. "Is something wrong?"
"The Clave is meeting today and will more or less want this room to meet in." Will explained, "Charlotte wanted me to make sure it was empty."
"Oh well," Rhiannon stated, closing her book with a start and standing from the chair she occupied near the fire. "Thank you for letting me know."
"Not a problem," Will nodded, letting Rhiannon pass him and leave him alone in the library.
Will's POV:
Tessa from the moment I saved her in the Dark house has always been on my mind, but the more time I spend with her sister the more I see the beauty beneath her cold exterior. It was not until Jem and I meet out front of the Dark House that I realized there was two of them. Two girls who were so different but still so much the same. I let out a sigh as I turned on my heel and left the room. Feeling my stomach drop with every steep I took towards the training room, knowing that at least one of them would be there. Both of which had stolen pieces of my heart. Would I admit it either of them? Very unlikely at this point but you never know.
"Will?!" a voice called, throwing me out of my own head. I look around and noticed I had made it into the training room, without being aware of it. Rhiannon sat in the window seat that sat opposite the door, while Tessa sat across from her holding the book Rhiannon had possession of in the Library. Only one of them was in training gear and I will let you guess which one. If you said Rhiannon you guess right. It was at this moment that I was able to truly see the curvature of Rhiannon's figures while she sat in her gear on the window seat. However, it was Tessa who forced me to stop thinking about how beautiful I thought Rhiannon looked at this very moment with a question that seemed rather odd to most mundanes but rather normal us.
"How is she coming on her training?"
"Tessa!" Rhiannon hissed, earning a smirk from Tessa.
"Oh I'm sorry is that a off limits question, now?" Tessa mocked, a smile forming to her face. "Pray tell sister what is a question I can ask? Maybe your infatuation with Jem? Or maybe how you moon over Will when you think he is not looking?"
"Now you are just being mean." Rhiannon said, throwing a pillow that she clutched at her sister. Hitting Tessa square in the face. As I watched the scene unfold in front of me I could not help but feel a twinge of nerves erupt me. Something that usually never happens at all. Why was it that the thought of her mooning over me or having an infatuation with Jem getting to me like this? That was the question I was going to find an answer to one way or another.
"How rude are you!" Tessa jabbed.
"Well you should know the answer to that question!" Rhiannon pointed out.
