Luke x Reader (JATP) - barely editing anymore

chapter 25

"y/nnnnn" luke whined walking through the garage doors.

"alex and reggie ditched me" he let out a little laugh, knowing that he actually ditched them wanting to spend some alone time with y/n.

"come on where are youuu, don't think i forgot about finishing to teach you the song" he whined out getting annoyed you were no where to be found.

you made your way down the stairs after stumbling to get down them being long past a little tipsy and rushed over to give him a hug and welcome him back. but instead before reaching him you tripped over nothing and he caught you.

"hiiluke how was your daybecause my day was kinda boring and i didn't really do that muchactually i didn't reallydo anything sowhat did youu do" you said while laughing and slurring your words.

"it seems like you've been up to something" he awkwardly laughs while taking more of a hold on you to make sure you wouldn't trip again.

"so care to tell me why your drunk" he asked while setting you onto the couch next to him putting his arm around you and playing with your hair a little.

"shh it's a secrett" you said putting your finger right to his mouth as if telling him to be quiet.

"come on just for me, i promise i won't tell anyone" he was hiding the fact that he was really nervous, since he had only ever seen you in this state when you were at a party and he was spying on you to make sure you didn't get kidnapped.

"i can't say it's a secret" you said more seriously now but laid your head into his shoulder to get comfy.

"you wanna know adifferent secrett though" he let out a little giggle and nodded.

"you have to promise not to tell anyone" you put out your pinky to witch he gave you a look but decided to go for it.

"i promise" he said.

"dontell anyone not even tom and um i mean not alex or reggie i don't know why i said tom, i don't even know a tom" you laughed at how drunk you were trying really hard to remember what you were talking about before.

"oh right um well luke i think your really pweaty" you exclaimed while nodding as to tell yourself you said the right thing.

he was now facing you looking right into your eyes while letting out a little laugh.

"why thank you y/n i think your very pretty as well"

"aw your too sweet you know your really giving me 'are we about to kiss right now' energy so if i were you i would stop looking at people like that because the second you give that little smile it's like everyone falls in love with you" you stopped in your words thinking about what to say next, luke not giving any reaction knowing you were completely wasted.

"you know what i'm happy aboutwell i wouldn't exactly say imhappy about itbut i'm not mad either" you looked over to him who was trying to hold back his laughter.

"the fact that your like kinda dead means that i cant ever get jelous and that your like all mine you know" he no longer was trying to hold back a laugh but instead looked right into your eyes again letting his eyes be the response instead of his words.

the two of you inched a little closer until your noses were basically touching. and then you backed away remembering that as much as you liked the boy nothing could ever happen.

"why do you look at me like that?" you asked with a big smile on your face.

"what do you mean, how exactly do i look at you" his smile now growing.

"you know what i'm talking about you look right into my eyes and like stare into my soul and shit"

"i do that?" he questioned.

"don't act dumb luke you know exactly what your doing when you do the little smile and then the smirk and then the eyes, it's like your trying to make me fall for you"

"is it working" he asked in a completely joking matter, but seeming as the fact that you were completely drunk, you probably made a mistake by responding with yes.

that was all it took for the two of you to start inching closer, only this time your lips colliding with each other.

it was a soft kiss, nothing like you were used to, you were used to guys making out with you for only one reason, to use you, but it didn't matter since you were using them for the same. but this, this was different. it seemed like he actually cared and not just about whether it would lead to him getting in your pants.

before anything could go any further the sounds of bickering coming closer to the door caused the two to pull away awkwardly. well for luke it was awkward you were kinda too drunk to think about what happened.

"alexx my mann" you got up and headed to alex straight away having not seen the other two boys in a while.

alex hugged you back and mouthed something to luke to which he nodded in response.

"heyy what happened to you" alex asked with a smile but a little hint of concern under the voice.

"i wanted some fun but so far all of you guys are boring"

"willie told me about this club we could go to, but it doesn't open until later tonight"

"um, yea sure let's do it"

"ALSO I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM EVERYONE THAT THE UPSTAIRS IS OFF LINITS FOR THE NEXT HOUR AND A HALF AS ALEX AND I TALK ABOUT HIS NEW CRUSH" you yelled loudly while grabbing alex's hand in your and helping him lead you upstairs but still managing to trip at least once on your way up, only to be caught by alex.
