"Hey! Eyes to yourself, fag!"

Zayn whipped his towel out at me as he picked his clothes up off the floor. Changing after gym had never been easy for me, especially with him in my class. Two other boys snickered when I jumped back.

I wasn't trying to antagonize him, but I was sick of his comments about me. "Right, like I'd even want to watch you undress."

Zayn held his hands up. "Ooh, yeah I bet. Too busy getting dick from some other fag." He pointed to my neck.

"Fuck off." Truthfully, I didn't really care about him pointing out my love bites, but he was indirectly insulting Harry. That wasn't okay with me.

"No." He sounded terribly aggressive. "Can't believe you're getting some. Who would be shagging you, Louis? Some other sick fag from this school?"

"No."

"No? Hmm, trying to protect him or something? Might as well tell me so that I can deal with him." Right, deal with him. That was code for kick his ass.

"I'm not trying to protect him." Except I was. I had done the same for Evan, but Zayn found out about us and nearly killed him.

"Then tell me." He raised his eyebrows at me and I almost rolled my eyes. I'm not telling him.

"No. Why does it matter? Jealous cause I'm getting some and you're not?"

Probably shouldn't have said that. He grit his teeth and growled, taking a menacing step forward.

"You don't know anything about me. At least I'm fucking normal." Zayn pushed me back into the locker wall, making the sound of metal echo around the room. He kept his hands pressed against my chest. "Keep your mouth shut."

"Why should I? You never do."

He growled and pulled back. I thought for a second that he was going to walk away but he swung at me. His knuckles just about broke my jaw, my vision flashing white.

"Fucking hell, Malik!" He swung at me again and I almost blacked out from the pain. I managed to shove him back a bit before he brought his leg up and kneed me in the stomach.

Zayn slammed me back into the locker wall again and my legs suddenly went weak, causing me to drop to the cold floor.

I could barely see anymore. My vision was going black from the burning pain of Zayn's foot colliding with my ribs and my stomach. He kept going even when I had already stopped fighting back.

"I'll teach you to keep your mouth shut!" He growled at me and grabbed the front of my shirt, dragging me up and slamming me against the wall. The truth is, I had only said what needed to be said. Was it so wrong to defend myself?

My head crashed into the wall again and I lost all consciousness.

I was aching when I finally woke up in the nurse's office. I tried to sit up, but the pain in my head was killing me. I groaned and the nurse walked over to me.

"Hello, dear. You were asleep for nearly an hour. Are you feeling alright?"

Absolutely not. "No." I groaned again and propped myself up on my elbows, ignoring the searing pain in my chest.

She sat down in a chair next to the table I was lying on and put her hand on my forehead. "It is possible you might have a concussion. Now, it wouldn't be safe for you to drive at the moment." She handed me my phone which had been on the counter behind us. "Is there someone you can call?"

Harry. "Yeah, I'll just call my b-... my friend. He'll drive me home or something."

The woman nodded and stood up. "It would be wise to get your head checked out by a professional."
