"Hume toh kabhi aap ka banna hi nehi tha," Anika screamed looking at Shivaay who had fury dancing in his eyes. (I never wanted to be yours)
"Aap bhool maat jayiye ki hum aapke paati hone ke saath saath aapke Samrat bhi hain. Aap hamari Rani hain iska ye matlab nehi ki hum aapki har gustaaqhi maaf karein!" Shivaay roared. He did not like to be dishonoured. (Don't forget that I'm your king along with your husband. I won't be forgiving every mistake of yours just because you're my queen!)
This entire situation was created by the maids who had claimed Anika to have seduced Shivaay in order to be his first queen instead of her sister. Gossip travelled faster than light in the castle. Anika was not only hurt but angered by this news. Did the people of his kingdom think so low of her? Did he set them up for this?
"Agar aapke logo ko humse itni takleef thi, phir humse aapne shaadi kyun ki?" Anika asked, her puffy eyes accusing him. (If your people had issues with me, then why did you marry me?)
"Aapko aapke sawal ka jawab pata hain, Anika. Aapki behen ne shaadi ke din bhagne ka faisla kiya. Woh hamari galti nehi thi. Humne aapse zabardasti vivah nehi kiya tha!" Shivaay shouted. He couldn't bear her accusing him for something he hadn't done. His blood boiled, she couldn't marry anyone but him! (You know the answer to your question very well. Your sister decided to runaway on the day of the marriage, that was not my fault and I didn't marry you forcefully)
"Toh kya woh hamari galti thi? Agar aapko hum pasand hi nehi the, toh aap maana kar detein!" Anika yelled before warm tears rolled down her cheeks. (Then was that my fault? If you weren't ready to marry me, then you could've declined)
Shivaay couldn't bear this any longer. He stormed off their chamber without another word. As much as he wanted to tell her about his plan, his conspiracy for making her his, he couldn't. He was beyond angered by her words. He didn't like her? Huh, he loved her.
They hadn't reached that point of their relationship where confessing one's feelings was normal. He was beyond frustrated. The woman for whom he plotted a large game did not understand how much he wanted her!
Shivaay's mother was alarmed about his sudden arrival and also the feud with his newly wedded wife.
"Suna hain Rani sa aapse naraz hain?" (I have heard that the queen is mad at you)
The old lady wearing a plain white saree with the veil sitting on her head perfectly spoke softly to her son who had just arrived at her chamber.
He sat opposite to her. She gestured to the maids to leave.
"Hawa se bhi tez khabar pohouch jati hain aapke pas, maa sa," Shivaay remarked as his mother laughed. (News gets to you faster than air, mother)
