Shivaay motioned a maid to come forward, who was holding a golden platter. The platter had something, Anika could not trace what shape it was. It was of spherical shape. The item which was resting on the platter had been covered by a red fabric. Gayatri looked amused, what gift could it be?

"Dekhna chahengi?" (do you want to see it)

"Hamara hai, zaroor dekhenge," (it is for me, so I will surely)

Shivaay placed his palm on the cloth, keeping his eyes fixed on his queen, who reciprocated. When he pulled the cloth off, a loud gasp was heard from Gayatri. Anika's eyes widened when they handed on her supposed gift.

It was the head of Junaid Ibrahim.

No matter how much Shivaay tried to cling to his beloved wife, duties always managed to make him withdraw his hands from her, which he absolutely loathed. It was not easy being a king, yet he was the Chakravarti. Staying in Singhall did not give him a break from his responsibilities. His chief came to met him almost everyday to discuss certain matters.

Shivaay did not trust anyone. It was proven by his actions as he never sent letters. If he had to say or discuss matters, he would personally see to it. Thus, his chief had to come to him every other day.

The sun had not disappeared over the horizon yet. As if it was reluctant to leave the earth. The sky was painted in the pastel shades of pink, orange and blue. People were beginning to retire for the day, while the chief of Mewar had decided to spend the night in Singhall.

Shivaay decided to sit with his father in law and the only reason he wasn't with his wife was because she had company. Gyatri had been talking to Anika, thus he decided to give the duo privacy. Yet that did not stop him from thinking about her. Anika had been quite obedient, surprisingly. Thanks to Gayatri, who had managed to make the queen of Mewar agree to eat proper food and the medication every now and then.

As Shivaay sat on a royal chair, his thoughts travelled back to the morning, soon after he had presented his present to his wife. To say Anika had been gobsmacked would be an understatement. Her jaw had dropped to the floor and her eyes had been as wide as saucers. Gayatri's condition was no different. The older woman had been too shocked to comment on his gift and had left soon enough to provide them privacy.

As soon as Gayatri left them alone, Anika had burst into guffaws of laughter. Shvaay had been amazed by her, well his wife always amused him. It was as if he had cracked a joke, which made her laugh like that.

"Kaesa laga aapko? Aapke Samrat ka tohfa?" Gayatri asked Anika, as they sat together. Ayush had ordered some jewellery to be made for Anika. The gold smith had sent them in the morning and the duo were checking then out. Anika couldn't help but giggle at that. (how did you like the king's gift?)
