Shivaay had sworn revenge.
The silence of the night was pierced by the clatter of hoofs. The sounds echoed, as if the horses were angry. The moon hid behind the clouds, shielding itself from predicted carnage, afraid of being stained in the unholy red. They all had a plan in mind, none alike. They had their hopes, strategies and arrangements.
Little did they know that the greatest plans were that of destiny.
Rage danced in Shivaay's eyes, which had now turned into the lightest shade of grey, in utter fury. It was late in the afternoon when he had received the letters. Letters. One from his Queen and the other from his enemy.
His queen's life was in jeopardy. She had asked him to come and save her and her father's kingdom.
The other letter was from Junaid Ibrahim, the vile creature who had been thirsty for his little sparrow's life. Shivaay's grip tightened on the horse's whip. Junaid had dared to threaten him by using his wife's name as a weapon.
That man had eyed what was his.
His queen.
And that was what had shortened his lifetime.
The letter from Junaid had reached the Samrat first. He was smug and threatened the Chakravarti, to strip him off his shaan, his Rani sa.
Shivaay had a standing army of forty thousand soldiers.
It wasn't worry that drove him crazy.
It was anger.
It was the lust for vengeance.
The moment he had finished reading the letter, he had been shaking furiously causing his officials to cower away. The intensity of his anger was indescribable. He had one motive in this battle, that was to rip those eyeballs off, which had dared to look up at his Anika.

The knight whom Anika had sent to inform Shivaay about the danger, came running back to the king of Singhall.
"Maharaj!" (king!)
Anika stood up from her position. She had been sitting by her father, who had been worried sick about his kingdom.
"Kya khabar hai?" (what is the news?)
"Mewar ke Samrat aur sainik aa chuke hai. Woh hamare yudh shuru karne ka intezar kar raahe hai," (the king and knights from Mewar are here. They are waiting for us to begin the war)
Anika rushed out of her father's chamber immediately and reached the topmost tower. The soldiers assigned to be at the watchtower stared at their princess in bewilderment. Was she here to announce a war? When they did not have enough soldiers?
