A week had passed since they arrived in Mewar. Anika's wound had dried, she no longer needed to apply the paste of herbs. The raj vaid had suspected that there would be a scar on the region and it would not take much time to heal. Certain duties and necessities were pulling the King of Mewar back. Aysuh's health had improved, thus even though his daughter felt reluctant to leave, she was relieved.
Shivaay still spent quality time with his wife as it was him who had strictly instructed her and the servants to not let Anika do any sort of work. According to him, she still needed proper rest. He had put her practice at pause and had promised the woman that once her wound healed, he would make sure she went back to practicing.
Currently, the couple were engrossed in a game, which had become a favourite since they had returned. An effective way of spending their time. The game of chess.
Anika gasped dramatically when her husband took her knight down. A grin was plastered on his face making her frown.
"Itne khush maat huyiye," Anika pouted making him chuckle. (don't be so happy)
"Kyun nehi?" (why not?)
"Ye galat hai," (this is wrong)
"Kaese?" (how)
Anika didn't have an answer. Well his move was justified, but why did he have to eat her knight knowing that she was a novice in this game? Seeing her pout made his heart clench. His little sparrow.
"Chakravarti ki chal, nazar aur mohabbat par kabhi shaq karne ki galti naa karein, Rani sa," Shivaay smirked, making her even more annoyed. (don't do the mistake of doubting my move, vision and love, queen)
"Humein aapse baat hi nehi karni hai, Shivaay, aap jayiye," Anika got up from the kursi and went towards the bed, turning her face away from him. (I don't want to talk to you, Shivaay, go away)
Shivaay chuckled again, "Kaha jaaye?" he too got up, taking steps towards her. (to where?)
"Jaha marzi ho," (wherever you wish to)
"Jaha jane ki marzi hai waha aap jane kaha deti hai?" (you don't let me go where i want to)
"Matlab?" (what?)
"Matlab hamara bas chale to hum aapki baahon mei hi reh jaaye," (I mean that if it was up to me, I would stay in your arms forever)
Anika blushed bet-root red hearing his words. Shivaay wrapped his arms around her small waist, making her eyes widen in surprise.
She had spent a great deal of time pondering upon Gyatri's words. He was a man, they were married, so did that mean he wanted to... to do the deed? She blushed again. Shivaay nuzzled his nose in her neck, making her eyes close, feeling the odd sensations. A shiver ran down her spine as his hands softly moved on her waist.
