Chapter 22

"Your-your my father?

Anna's heart ached her mother dead and now this man in front of her claims to be her father. When Kyle walked into the room pure shock showed on his face. Still in shock he looked to Jake's smirked face. This is not what I meant when I said to tell her. He'd better explain this after. Kyle left Anna question hanging in the air for some time. Then decided to go with Jakes stupid plan, hanging his head low then faking a shudder he lifted his head towards Anna slowly. Meeting her eyes and held it there for the dramatic effect-her eyes showed the battle raging of happiness and sadness each one trying to win over her heart.

"Anna I'm-"

No longer were sadness and happiness in her eyes but now rage and anger flared bright in her brown eyes.

"How could you! Why wouldn't you keep me was I too much of a burden to have around!"

"No Anna it wasn't like that-"

Anna wouldn't have, the emotions poured out. All the times she felt alone and felt like she didn't belong were coming out. No longer was she seating down listening to how everything she knew was wrong and a lie now she stood strong wanting the truth and nothing but the truth. Jake on the other hand had a smirked face and was seated back in his comfortable office chair enjoying the show.

"I don't care keep your makeshift sorry to yourself!"

"Anna it was for the best-"

"Best?! Why?! Am I too toxic to be here! You don't understand I was with people who weren't my family, I was called things at school, do you know how it feels for the school to call you not worth their time, being totally invisible to everyone eyes!! Huh no you were here not giving a damn about me on earth!"

"I have always cared about you. After your mom died," Kyle choked out the word mom, "the rebellion looked for me and you! They almost came close to getting you. The best choice was to send you to earth were at least you be a little bit more safe then here on this planet."

Anna looked down, her rage overpowered her actions all she had on her mind was her mother and her mother alone. No longer did she care for what was happening around her all she wanted was time to think and digest what she has been told. She learn a long time ago that her powers were connected to her emotions. Angered her hands became fist and those fist soon became two lava hot fire balls. Her eyes even changed color they weren't brown anymore now each eye flared a bright lava red color.

"I-I just don't understand" Anna muttered.

"Let me help you understand everything."

"No one understands me. The ones I trusted are gone and your still a stranger in my eyes," Anna looked up to meet Kyle eyes head on,"I'm sorry."

With a quick move of her hand the size of a office chair fire surge soured through the air and crashed into the windowed wall. It destroyed everything around that area books, papers, holograms, and some office chairs were either flung through the air or were melted by the pure intensely of the fire.

Anna ran towards the crash as soon as it released but it felt different. It was like her legs felt tingly and full of energy. When she ran everything else around her grew slower but she felt faster then something click in her brain it was super speed. She didn't have time to celebrate her new power cause one second she standing there the next second she out the broken window wall.

But she wasn't falling. Her legs were still kept moving and she didn't feel the rush of falling, it's was like she was still running. Anna opened her just to sneak a peek, she was running down the length of the building! Then she was on the ground no harm, no starches, no broken bones, but once she stopped the feeling of tiredness punched her.

"That was amazing." Anna breathe out while looking down at her shaking legs. The same moment the guard came running out the doors.

"You! Stop!" He pulled out a gun.

Anna smirked and turned around, the guard moving was half way to her.

"Do you want to see a magic trick?!" Anna screamed to him, he didn't answer just kept running.

"Yes, well then let me show you."

Feeling the same sensation as she did before Anna ran towards the guard. She there even before he could blink. Anna lifted him by the waist then slammed him hard so hard that when he landed back down on the cement he broke the sidewalk. After that moment of adrenalin Anna moved back to where she was before.

"Ta-da," Anna said waving her hands, "now you must excuse me but I have other places I would rather be then this place." She would rather be out there then here where she told everything is a lie.

Anna turned on her heel and got ready to feel the power of lighting fast moving. She closed her eye breathe in then out. Something flared in her brain it felt like a hurricane went rogue in her mind. She saw the hills and a man standing there beckoning her to come. It moved to where she saw where she was then where he was holding out his hands to her.

Anna opened her eyes having the destination set she moved to where her vision told to head, she set off. Moving, running, looking for where he was.

Kyle transported right before Anna ran. He tried to follow where she went but she was gone, disappeared. He stood still looking at the spot where she once was until Jake came out, smiling.

"Well that worked out perfectly."

Kyle turned facing jake with disgust, "Perfectly? Do you have eyes, Jake?! Wasn't your whole plan to get her to our side why would you say all that??"

"It still is part of my plan. Now," Jake pointed to Kyle," you have find her make her believe that you won't let her go again." Jake put air quotes around again.

"Jake-"

Kyle was but off, " Don't you see Kyle she the weapon to win the war, to end the rebellion, and lastly to move out those old numbskulls out of office and make us," Jake moved his hands between him and Kyle," the rulers. We won't have to listen anymore about what they want we choose the rules, don't you see!?! All we need is the final piece of our plan and that my friend is Anna she will bring us all the things we ever desired."

"What happens after?"

"Well isn't obvious we get rid of her, dispose of the little monster."
