Chapter 4

Waking up Anna tried to feel the hard cement floor that gotten she has gotten use to but instead she feels soft, fluffy blankets. As her eyes adjusted to the nagging light she sees she isn't in her normal apartment building but in a bedroom. Anna couldn't recall the last time she was in a bedroom that didn't smell of old age or dust. It seem like years since she was in a comfy bed which in hindsight it was.

As she get up from the bed Pjs were on her instead of her usual clothes. Looking around the room Anna could see one dresser, one mirror, a bed, and a bathroom. Heading toward the dresser she found clothes for both female and male, the one one under it had her clothes, her converse, and her last remaining object of her past, a necklace. At the corner of her eye she could see that at the far corner a small camera was watching her every move.

Pretending not to notice she went to the studio sized bathroom. A fresh toothbrush and toothpaste were there. She went to take a shower. When Anna was done and clothed she just stared at herself in the mirror wondering why she was here, why did this happen to her, and lastly she wished she could she her family again.

A knock came from the door that took her out of her daze. He was average hight, black-browish hair, and had coal eyes. He held two swords behind his back and have a holster a pistol. He wore all black he would easily be able to hide in the shadows.

"It time to leave." he says

"Hi to you too. Where are we going"? Anna says back

"Dinner. He doesn't like it when people are late so lets get a move on"

"Can I at least get your name"?

"Nico" he says

"Why do I need you to get to dinner. I can fully handle walking ever since I was two."

"You don't know your way around here. I will be your guard."

"As a guard?"

"Yes now lets get a move on"

"My name is Anna by the way"

"I know we met before."

"How"?

He pulls on his mask then says "I'm the masked man who saved your life remember."

Anger build up in Anna " You nearly ended it too! Let just go I don't want to be here any more."

Without answering Nico led Anna down the halls. As they walked down the hallway Anna noticed she was the only door in the whole freakin hallway! Turning left it had the other halls leading to where the other men and women soldiers slept. Then they came to a massive door at the end of the ongoing hallway. The door seemed to be Empire State Building high! They knocked an answer called them in. Walking in it was surprising small a little larger then a office room. She recognized the man sitting at the other end of the table; Ryan.

He motion his hand for her to sit across from him and said "Nico you can leave now"

"Yes sir"

Sitting down her thoughts seemed to be running around asking questions. The biggest one was if she would die here and never see freedom again.

A lady came in with food plates in each hand. A pop up vision came as well of the lady falling over all the food. Oh no she don't not my food.

Just a minute after the pop up vision she falls but Anna catches her plate before it became to lady to makeup. She ended up falling with Ryan's food he food went splat all over floor and her face.

While Anna is laughing Ryan's face is grew redder than a tomato with anger! With a slight flip of his hand the lady gets thrown at the wall. Instantly she stopped laughing and started eating. Ryan never spokes until his food came. Another lady comes through the door with another plate of food for Ryan. He starts to eat but she already done with her plate.Finally when he done with his food he wipes he mouth and speaks.
"Sorry for -"

But before he finish his sentence Anna interrupt him.

"I'm not a weapon you can use sir. I don't want war, I don't want to be chained to group of which I have no idea what they stand for! "

He doesn't speak so she continues
"I don't want to be here anymore. I am leaving and you can't stop me."

He stood quickly up as a fire ball was forming in her hand.

"You shouldn't do that Anna just sit down"

"I don't take orders from anyone."

With that said she pointed the fire to wall. The wall exploded in flame then turned into nothing more than melting cement.

"Stop!" he screamed it was too late

Take one last look at Ryan she didn't listen and jumped out the melting wall..
